From when I was little; Care Bears and Sesame Street. I used to love the Full House one too. Then Friends and Buffy, followed by Grey's Anatomy. I don't think any new shows I currently watch have theme songs.

Highlander - Can't beat a song by Queen!

I also like Greatest American Hero, Rockford Files, Magnam P.I., Laverne & Shirley and Stargate Atlantis. I also think the these from each of the Star Trek series are very pretty.

Dallas - #1!
The West Wing
The Sopranos
Thirtysomething
The Greatest American Hero
The Young and the Restless and OLTL (with Lyrics)
North and South - (singing it now)
Breaking Bad (most amazing show EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Entourage

If we are talking themes written especially for the show, then probably Peter Gunn, West Wing, The Virginian, The Wild Wild West, and the original Hawaii-Five-Oh. Oh, and Sesame Street ;)

Probably the most iconic and recognizable to the most people is the theme from M*A*S*H*, but that wasn't written for the TV show; it was written for the movie. (If you have never seen the original movie, the same score was used, but it had lyrics. The title of the song is "Suicide is Painless" -- which makes this song's popularity at weddings rather ironic.)

Now then, if we talk about best title sequence, that's another story. My rock-solid vote for that one is China Beach (the Supremes' Reflections), followed by the original Hawaii Five-Oh, and then another Vietnam drama, Tour of Duty (the Rolling Stones' Paint it Black). The Wild Wild West also had a good title sequence, it was animated. Oh, also honorable mention to Get Smart, because it's funny.

Twin Peaks
Malcolm in the Middle
The X Files
Hawaii 5-0
Big Bang Theory
Psych
Baretta
True Detective
Batman

Cartoon Network's Adult Swim has some pretty good opening themes.

The Venture Bros. has this odd intro.

I am really surprised no one said the Brady Bunch yet...

My favorites as a child were Scooby Doo and Wonder Woman.

Now I would have to say Bewitched and the X-Files.

There are a bunch I could list, but my favorite has to be The Sopranos. The music combined with the drive through Jersey...that show was just perfection.

Also in the running:

The Simpsons
Six Feet Under
ER
Mary Tyler Moore
Cheers
X Files
Animaniacs
Star Trek TNG
The West Wing
