Best TS with 2 Year Old

Not sure if you've done "the math", but it will only cost you $20 more per night to have the Basic DP vs the QS Plan for your family. If you are staying 5 nights you will pretty much spend that on 2TS dinners.

Seriously consider the Basic Plan then go with some of the recommendations and you and DH might want to select a non character meal too:

H&V Playhouse Disney character meal
Crystal Palace
Coral Reef
Chef Mickey's
Donald's Safari
1900 Park Fare

The Plaza might also work for you, light meal, but really good food and right on Main Street so, location, location, location. For example if you and DH split the Rib and Chicken platter for either lunch or dinner, the burger or salad meal at the Plaza might be a nice balance.

We enjoyed buffets with DS 20 months last Sept. CP was great and Chef Mickey's too. I would like to take him to the Coral Reef or the Sci Fi also.

We went to many TS during 'free dining' last year with DS (20 months). We actually cancelled many of the dinners and tried to change them to lunches or breakfast. By the end of the day DS was too tired or off schedule to want to do a sit down dinner. This made it stressful for us and we found QS a better option. In March we are doing the QSDP.
