DH and I are traveling to Disney in December with my parents (late 50s), soon-to-be 5 year old, and will-be 8 month old (6 people total). I am totally overwhelmed trying to figure out what ADRs I should make. What is the, hands down, best TS restaurant that isn't super expensive and that is child friendly? We are not very adventurous eaters, so I don't think we'd like a french restaurant or restaurants that have weird food. :) Any advice appreciated! Thanks! :flower3:

You could try the Plaza in MK. Inexpensive, it falls sort of between counter service and table service. It is a table service, but with sandwiches/salads as their mainstay. So it's lighter, more "regular" food, which seems to fit your bill. It's not where I would go if I was trying to impress though.

When there are lots of people with different tasts, I like buffets.

How about a breakfast buffet?

Crystal Palace and Tusker House have great selections and they are inside the parks. Both have characters too, which is why they are more $.

If you don't like the idea of breakfast or buffets, how about Kona Cafe?

I instantly thought of a couple of TS restaurants outside of the parks that are good values: Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge and Trail's End at Fort Wilderness Campground. We LOVE WCC, but have only eaten there for lunch. They have an all-you-can-eat skillet for $18.99 that consists of chicken, pork ribs, pork sausage, baked beans, corn on the cob, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and cornbread. (Of course, if you go for dinner, it's quite a bit more--$28.99, but for breakfast the skillet is only $15.99.) As far as Trail's End, I recently had breakfast there, but I've heard that dinner is great. Again, normal fare and all-you-can-eat. According to allears, adult's price is $22.99, and children's price is $12.99. (Breakfast is $15.99 and $9.99.)
