I booked the Princess breakfast in Norway for breakfast one day, and dinner at Tutto Italia for me, but I am looking for one more fun place for my DD to enjoy (and one that might not be booked already...we leave in five weeks). Any suggestions? We have tons of character meals booked at the MK and the GF, just looking for a fun or pretty atmosphere that might be entertaining. TIA for your help :)

My kids love the coral reef and looking at the fish, although lately i have to tell you the food has been pretty poor. Mexico is kind of another neat atmosphere but we've been avoiding it for years because of bad food reviews. There is also the garden grill for character dining but the food is gross (IMO). Morrocco has a agreat belly dancing show and pretty good food. Also Japan is a great place. Tokyo dining is less exciting for a child atmosphere wise but the food is great and they are so good with kids- teppen edo is hibachi so fun to watch and pretty tasty too.
I know a lot of people like biergarten with kids but i don't like sharing tables (i sound like such a curmudgeon in this post)

You could always take the international gateway to Beaches & Cream or to Beach Club for Cape May Cafe.

Beaches & Cream does not accept ADR's but you can use TS credits

Beach Club/ Cape May Cafe has a character breakfast and a clam bake for dinner but there is a variety of foods for dinner. The only exception is that dinner is not a character breakfast but the kids can draw on the Table. My kids had a lot of fun here. In fact, we are going back.

When we took our niece, she was almost 4, she loved the character breakfasts...especially the Princess one. We took her again this past Jan and she is now 6 and she loved CP breakfast and the Princess breakfast.....you cannot go wrong with whatever character breakfast you choose

There's a German band that plays at different times throughout the day with a little dance floor that kids often use to dance. They have prett much the normal kid's fare to eat also.

Another vote for Biergarten. Buffet style makes quick service, and the show is a lot of fun. Coral reef is also a good one, but is expensive and slow. We like Restaurant Marrekesh if you don't mind more "exotic" food. (The kids meals are pretty normal, though.) There is a floor show with belly dancer and band here too.

I took my niece, who was four at the time, to Coral Reef and she loved it! We were seated right next to the tank and she had a great time watching the fish, turtles and divers.

My kids all really liked Coral Reef. We've had dinner there twice. One warning--get an early dinner because they tend to get backed up there, and if your time is for later, you might have somewhat of a wait.

ok I'm thinking maybe Biergarten. One of you mentioned Teppan Edo. I actually already have that booked but was thinking it might not be too exciting for my DD. Between Biergarten and Teppan Edo, which would you choose?

Teppan Edo, most will say, is pretty standard Teppan style restaurant (like the chains Beni-hana or Shogun). I don't know how old your DD is, but my DD5 enjoys the experience of these types of restaurants. We now have 4 Teppan restaurants in Buffalo, so I don't feel a real need to go to one at WDW.

Beirgarten is a little more unique in that you can't find this at home, as it is like participating in Octoberfest, with lots of German music. My DD was 3.5 when we went, and she was fascinated by the show. If you do it, they run about 30 minutes each, and aren't going all the time. Steve Soares lists Showtimes as Daily at 1:15, 2:15, 3:15, 4:45, 5:55, 7:00 & 8:05pm, so plan your ADR accordingly. ( http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/ )
