We are going to hang out at Epcot the day of the marathon while dh heads back to Pop to rest. He is meeting us back at Epcot for dinner, so I thought we would do a TS restaurant to celebrate. (Normally, we only do one character meal during our trip...that's the only TS we do). We have two preschoolers, so I guess I'm not sure what places are most kid friendly.

I thought Coral Reef might be fun, but the reviews have been a little mixed.

We love Mexican food, so I would love to hear more about the TS place in Mexico.

At some point, I would love to try Marakesh while we are in DW, but I'm not sure how kid friendly it would be.

I would love something relaxing after getting up super early for the marathon and then hitting Epcot by myself with the kids!

Thanks in advance, Disers!

Marrakesh is our personal fave, and they do have a kids menu. Le Cellier is popular, and Coral Reef and San Angel get mixed reviews on here often, but I have not tried either.

We have done almost all of the TS in Epcot and our fav hands down is Beirgarten followed very close by Tutto Italia. Mexico was a great lunch and everytime I go for Morocco the bad reviews scare me away :goodvibes

We love the restaurants in WS in Epcot. We have eaten in most and enjoy them a lot. Our every trip "must do" is Teppan Edo in Japan, It is a Teppanyaki style restaurant where they stir fry your meal on the grill at your table. It is lots of fun and the food is delicious. I think the chef cooking would entertain your children.
Although we haven't been in years, we are going to the Biergarten this next trip. Based on the reviews here, I think it is very child friendly and your kids would be entertained by the show. It is buffet style.
Both of these restaurants have tables for 8 so you will be seated with others not in your party. We find this a great way to meet others at WDW and we enjoy it.
We also love Restaurant Marrakesh. It is a beautiful restaurant, with delicious food and warm, friendly servers. They periodically have a band and a belly dancer who is great. She invites the little ones to dance with her near the end of the act.
We don't have little ones anymore, so I am not sure of the children's menu at them. You can check the menus here on the DIS or at allearsnet.com. They will indicate the children's menus as well/
Have a Great Trip

We've dined at almost every table service restaurant in Epcot, and have found three to be consistantly good with food, service, and cleanliness; Nine Dragons, Chefs de France, and Biergarten, in that order. There are plenty of menu items to choose from at any of the three restaurants that I mentioned, and everybody should be able to find one or two things that they would like, however, service at Nine Dragons is the best, by far. All of the employees have been friendly, professional, warm, inviting, and make you feel like a part of their family so-to-speak.

Have eaten at most Epcot TS restaurants and greatly prefer Marrakesh, Le Cellier and Teppan Edo. Marrakesh is very kid friendly - they always have the band with the belly dancer who will entertain and then get the kids up for dancing. They have awesome service, great food and a beautiful atmosphere.

We don't care for Tutto Italia as it is very overrated - grossly overpriced, snotty servers and subpar food. Same with Norway Princess - yucky food, mostly good character interaction (but usually very rushed), cramped restaurant and spotty service. Coral Reef is inconsistent with service and food, and Chefs de France is just not good, period.

Marrakesh would definitely be my pick - good luck to DH at the marathon! Tiger :)

Not sure it will work with children, but hand's down the best table service at EPCOT is Le Bistro de Paris' degustation menu.

I'll be with my two boys after Dad runs the marathon as well. But we're heading over to the Magic Kingdom after the race. We're planning on eating at Teppan Edo in Japan though earlier in the week. They fix your food in front of you, so that may entertain your kiddos! Have fun!:hippie:
