We are in the midst of planning our vacation, and we have one evening for which we have yet to decide on dinner. What is your favorite, never-miss-a-chance-to-eat-here table service restaurant? popcorn::

In MK we like Pecos Bills

The ts in HS & AK aren't good, we never eat lunch there. Epcot we usually snack on different foods. ;)

My favorite, never-miss-a-chance-to-eat-there is definitely Jiko in the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Although I'm sure the people who have been to Victoria and Albert's would say that it is the best.

well, let's see, there's 50+ table service restaurants in WDW...I'd bet a Mickey bar that you'll get 50+ different answers:rotfl:

So far, we've tried over 30 of the TS restaurants and have to say Le Cellier, The Wave, Kona Cafe, Maya Grill, Wolfgang Puck Cafe probably our top 5. But we actually liked almost all of them...

And also, have never been there so maybe it's changed, but pretty sure Pecos Bills is a CS (counter service) place, not TS (table service)

I know there's alot of negative comments, but we go to Coral Reef every time we go to Disney. I love sitting by the aquarium having dinner.

Another "can't miss" is Cinderella's Castle. They have SUCH good prime rib!!:cool1:

TS generally means "table service", i.e., full-service restaurants.

You're going to get more input than you'll be able to use. :) I suggest rather you spend a little time reading some trip reports, essentially getting to know the reviewers, so you can determine which reviewers are people "just like you". Then you can rely on their recommendations.

For my part, this is my top 10:
  • Jiko
  • Chefs de France
  • Artist Point
  • The Wave
  • Narcoossee
  • Citricos
  • California Grill
  • Kouzzina
  • Flying Fish
  • Coral Reef

I totally agree. My favorites too!

duh, TS, NOT CS!!! I'm a dork!!

My favorite, the one we try to do for our last meal every vacation, is Victoria & Alberts.

Second place would be bluezoo. Tied for third would be Il Mulino and Bistro de Paris. Tied for 4th would be Flying Fish and Citricos.

Price is no object? Do you have all evening? If so, Victoria and Albert's.

Otherwise, I don't know that there is any particular standout. If you gave us an idea of about where you plan to be, it's easier to narrow it down.

We don't really plan to be anywhere in particular, as it's our last night at WDW and we're playing that one by ear. We'd prefer to do a TS restaurant for ONE Dining Plan credit (which is what we'll have left at that point), so signature places are out for us. I was originally planning on Boma, but I've heard some less than stellar dinner reviews as of late, so I thought I'd check out other favs just in case.....

Out of the parks, I'd have to say Citricos or Cali Grill. Inside the parks? Sci-Fi diner is our never miss spot.

Check out the "Rate & Review" section over at allearsnet.com for some very useful information.

Really, so much depends on taste that there's never going to be one clear winner.

Hands down our favorite TS is Ohana's for dinner. We never miss a chance to eat there. It's so booked for our upcoming trip in Oct. that we had to make our reservations at 9:00pm! I wouldn't do that for just any restaurant.

Many of the places people are listing are 2 TS places OR not on the dining plan at all (Calif Grill, Flying Fish, Citricos, Bluezoo, Il Mulino all great places, but not going to fit your criteria.)

All of my top 5 are 1 TS places--,and only one - Le Cellier- is in a park & hard to get into. The other 4 -- The Wave, Kona Cafe, Maya Grill, Wolfgang Puck Cafe -- are all outside the parks. Maya Grill is a bit of a trick to get to (unless you're staying at CSR) but The Wave & Kona Cafe are both great choices if you're going to Magic Kingdom on your last night since they're both on the monorail. Or Wolfgang Puck Cafe if you'd like to spend your last night in Downtown Disney. AGree with the recommendation to check out allears rate & review section for lots of quick reference ratings & can also see what people did/didn't like about places. Have fun:thumbsup2

Yikes..guilty! I didnt see the part about 1 credit..

I would also vote for Le Cellier or Wolfgang Puck Cafe.

I would ignore the reviews and stick with Boma. It is our favourite buffet at WDW, in fact the only one we visit every trip.

I wouldn't ignore the reviews. Boma is okay, but I wouldn't make a special trip to AKL to eat there.
