Another solo traveler here, it might be a bit pricey but to me it is worth it. I took my fifth ABD tour in May and am going on number 6 in September. I think since traveling solo it is safer to do it in a tour group, the access and attention to detail is phenomenal and another thing I like is the guides are always willing to make suggestions for meals on your own which is a great plus. Look at it this way, a cruise (and most if not all cruise lines do this) charges 100 percent supplement so you pay the full fare for two passengers even though you are only one, that way a 40 percent supplement seems like a bargain!
All the activities (excursions) that are described in the itinerary (look at www.adventuresbydisney.com, http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/abd/, or request a brochure) are included. (Occasionally they *will* mention things you can do at one of the hotels that are an extra cost, but they will be clearly marked as such).
If you arrive early (pre-days) or stay after the ABD (post-days) you'll need to pay for those whether you book them yourself or through ABD.
Any meals or activities that are "on your own" are not included.
Tips for the Adventure Guides are not included. All other tips for included meals, transportation, activities, local tour guides, housekeeping, luggage handling, etc, *are* included.
Full time services of the 2 Adventure Guides is included. The services of local tour guides are included.
