Best Transportation to Hoop Dee Doo

HI.. We are going to the HoopDeeDoo and was just wondering... Whats the easiet way to get there or closest to what park ?? I needed your help on which park to go to that day .. Thanks

The easiest way from a park is from MK. You would board the boat for Fort Wilderness Campground from the front of MK (just outside the park turnstiles). The boat will drop you off within a few short steps of Pioneer Hall, once you get off the boat you go to the end of the dock and Pioneer Hall will be ahead of you on the right. If MK is still open when HDD is over you can take the boat back. If not, ask one of the bus drivers how to get back to your hotel. Some of them offer a direct bus for HDDR guests, others you would have to go to Downtown Disney and transfer to your resort bus. When you leave HDDR (if you need to take the bus) there are a lot of CM's there to point you in the right direction.

If you decide to come in from another park or drive yourself it gets complicated because you have to park (or be dropped off by the bus) at the Main check in area and then transfer to the internal campground bus which will take you back to Pioneer Hall... The MK boat it much easier.

Like ROUGE stated, the best and most fun way is to take the boat from the MK to Fort Wilderness. We usually go a little early and get off at Wilderness Lodge and walk around for a little while. This is a great resort and we stayed there a few years ago. Another thing is to look for the lawn mower tree. It along the path from the dock going to Pioneer Hall. It is a tree that grew around a old lawn mower and is now a sight to see. Not much to look at but our kids had a ball looking for it..smjj

MK is the BEST park to be in to get to HDDR. However, if MK doesn't fit into your plans, MGM would be the next best park. The bus to FW drops you off at the Settlement, right near Pioneer Hall.

The bus to FW from either Epcot or AK drop you off at the Outpost and you would need to take an internal bus to get to the Settlement.

Thanks so much for your quick replies... Looks like it will be the Boat from the MK.. It will be our second day there so that was the park I was thinking about going to.... I will be sure to check out the tree... Thanks again

When I went to the Hoop Dee Doo a disney bus actually picked usup from our resort which was Port Orleans. It was a regual disney bus with a heading that said special event. I don't know if the bus still runs (it was four years ago) but that is how we got to Fort Wilderness if not then one of the parks is your best bet.
