Looking to rope drop Remy early next month for Early Entry and staying at PO Riverside, what is the best way to get there? I think if we go in by Spaceship Earth that is a long haul to get to Remy.

Early Entry Order:
Remy
Frozen
Test Track
Then...???

A free option is to bus to HS and walk and/or take the skyliner to EP. Since HS opens 30 minutes prior to EP this should get you there in plenty of time. We've done it in the past.
What a baller idea.

We've not done the skyliner yet, and per the map you'll go from HS to CBR to RIV then to epcot, how long does that typically take and do you have to get off any along the way and swap to another gondola? We'll have a stroller so hoping you can just stay put through that whole trip.

What about the friendship boats and riding one to Beach club then walk to IG, should work too but I assume the skyliner is faster since you cut out having the wait time for a boat to show up?

We don't do the boats typically so I can't help there, but since it makes stops at Swan and Dolphin, Yacht / Beach, and Boardwalk I imagine it would not be a quick process.

For the skyliner, it should take about 5-10 minutes to get from HS to CBR and then another 10 minutes to get from CBR to EP. This of course also depends on the line at CBR to get on. You don't transfer at RIV, only at CBR.

True on the boats and thanks for the info on skyliner.

So the route from HS to CBR is dedicated, you then have to get off at CBR to move to the main line and take that to RIV and then on to epcot? I got that right?

Correct. Just to clarify when you go from CBR to EP you will go through the skyliner station at RIV. The doors will open but you only get out if you are stopping at RIV.

Right on, thanks so much for the info!

We want quickest AND closest. Where will the Minnie Van drop off exactly?
If you want to enter EP through the IG, the Minnie Van will drop you off at Beach Club. Enter the resort and walk straight through to the outside where the lake is. Go to the walkway in front of the lake, turn left and walk to the IG. It’s a pretty short walk- about five/ten minutes or so.

Cpl. things:

I definitely would not take the skyliner from dhs to rope drop epcot. - The skyliner lines will be lage with rope droppers.

Also, they had really been cracking down and not letting non resort guests/adr reservation holders into the parking lots of disney hotels around creasant lake (epcot resorts), so not sure that would work either.

- You could get dropped off at swan or dolphin though. You could also bis to dhs and walk to epcot. Quickest/Easiest would be uber to swan/Dolphin and walk over if you're wanting to do rope drop from IG.

Ok thanks...so if we have a reservation at Port Orleans we can't go to DHS and use the Skyliner or do you mean to go in or out of CBR or another resort? A little confused but definitely don't want to get caught in that if that's the case...or just enter Epcot old fashioned way and hurry back to France which would be a haul!

You can certainly go to DHS and take the Skyliner. Just be aware that the line at CBR will be long with guests of CBR, Pop and AoA trying to get to IG for rope drop just like you are. At that time of day, the boat from DHS to Epcot (you can take it all the way, or get off at Yacht & Beach and walk) might not take much longer. Walking is often faster than either, depending on your walking speed.

The least stressful, and most guaranteed way of getting to IG before the early entry rope drop crowds arrive is to Uber/Lyft to Swan/Dolphin. It's cheaper than a Minnie Van. Parking security at Swan/Dolphin doesn't check to see if you are a resort guest or have a restaurant reservation. The walk is 10 minutes to IG. You can also plan to arrive whenever you want to guarantee you get to the front of the rope drop pack. I suggest getting to IG no later than one hour prior to early entry to ensure little to no wait for Remy once you are let in the park.

You can definitely go to DHS and use the skyliner, however if going for rope drop, you'd have a long wait at CBR to transfer to Epcot.

They haven't been letting cars of nonguests enter the lots of the resorts around epcot (BC, YC, BW), but you can get a car directly to swan/dolphin (in same area) since they're not disney resorts.
