I am going to start making t-shirts for our trip at the end of January and I was wondering what transfer everyone uses and if they like them?

I know I should get the dark but not sure what brands are good.

Thanks,
Kelly

I know a lot of people have used Amy's (M_I_C_K_E_Y) from her website. My sister used some HP Dark Transfers when she ran out of some others, and they were great! She's washed one of the shirts she made, and it came out looking like new.

I used Amy's transfer's too. They were great, I loved them.

I used Avery and HP in the past and Amy's are a lot nicer. The HP and Avery are stiff on the shirt. Amy's are softer and more comfortable. They hold up great in the wash, too.

Thanks...I just ordered some from Amy's site. Is she pretty quick on shipping?

A few more questions... I hope this makes sense...
What program do you print your transfers from? (like what program do you open the picture in to resize and print it from?)

Also if I wanted to do a smaller design on the front corner pocket.....can I print 2 pictures on one piece of transfer paper? So as to not waste a whole sheet.

Thanks again!!!

I print my designs from Photoshop, but when I'm at a computer without it, it's easy to print from Microsoft Word.

Yes, that's a good idea to put as many designs as you can on a sheet since transfer paper is expensive. :) My sister did that a lot with designs for her kids' shirts since those images are smaller.

Good luck! :wizard:

I used Amy's transfers and really liked them! She sends them out quickly and includes very easy to follow instructions. I just finished several shirts last night and they turned out beautifully.:thumbsup2
