well I think i have decided it is best for us to fly from buffalo for our next trip seeing as it overlaps march break there are no reasonable flight from toronto plus we want to do more than a week so i don't want a whole package from here that and the fact that packages from here seem to be overpriced,
anyhow.....
i want 10 days at pop century i think. We stayed at pop and really liked it and then stayed at cbr and loved it. the main pool will be shut so i was considering staying at pop century again. ....going the first week and half of march so swimming may be limited anyhow right??
so,,,is your best opinion that i book room only and see what the best rate is and then add the other options later or should i try for a package "deal" first?
we have decided that we would like only 6 days passes regardless of how many nights so we can do some other stuff and not feel obligated to park it every day, and i am undecided about the meal plan. we have gone both ways but now both of my kids will be considered an adult...even my son who will have JUST turned 10 who is like 60lbs and eats next to nothing....it doesn't seem worth it but....i also like to pay in advance for meals cause then it doesn't seem so bad once there and you definitely eat better...more sit down meals.
hmmmm
to package or not to package.
if we want the meal plan to we have to take park passes for the whole # of nights also?
ALso,,,i didn't see anywhere on the disney reservation site how you figure out the AAA discount...do you have to call? also might there be a pin code associated with my name if i call also?

thanks as always, you guys always have the answers.

Unless you decide to go with the dining plan, then I would say just book a room only and not worry about the package. You can always change if a deal comes out. And it would be a good idea to secure a room at Pop now, given that you are talking about March.

As for booking a AAA rate, yes you have to call 407-WDISNEY to book that rate.

And if you book the dining plan, you don't have to purchase tickets for that same length. You can get tickets for as many and as few days as you want up to 10 days.

Have you looked at the ticket price difference between six day tickets? The price difference is very small, so you might want to go ahead and get tickets for you length of stay. It would be a very nice option to have if you decided you just wanted to hop into a theme park for dinner or something like that.
