In addition to agreeing with all the foregoing recommendations, let me add a note concerning what my (then) 7 YO daughter and I did on a one day drive-over-from-the-beach MK trip last July. We made an 8AM Crystal Palace breakfast reservation...not because we particularly wanted to see Pooh and the gang...not because we wanted to pay $$$ for bacon-n-eggs...but because we wanted to get a jump on the early AM crowd. We had a nice breakfast, paid our bill, and were at the Liberty Square rope about 8:45. Rode BTMRR first, and were the only riders on our particular train. Then Peter Pan; no wait, then IASW, twice, w/o getting out of the boat. We encountered very short waits or none at all, until about noon, at which we shifted gears and went into what we now call "Dave Mode" (see the WDW Planning Video) for the afternoon, then picked up the pace in the evening, until my daughter's eyes glazed over, and I knew she was done for (Wilbur).
