Hi Everyone

I haven't been here in a while. I was at my sisters last night and we are thinking about going back to disney next year. Now since i haven't really been following the prices. I need your help. When is the best time to go to disney? We went last year in march and april and it was too crowded. When is the best time for your dollar? When are the best codes out and the best air fares? Please help. I need to get a budget and present it to my husband for the final "OK" LOL. we got ingaged last year in disney and were married 7 months later. YAY

After traveling to WDW at many different times, I think early Dec. is the best time to go to get the "most bang for the buck". All the Christmas decorations are up and the shows and parks are all in the Christmas spirit. Value rates at the resorts make it fairly cheap to stay on-site.

Jan. would be the second best if you don't mind the weather being iffy. Crowd-wise it's the slowest I've ever seen it. Practically every ride was a walk-on. Also value rates at the resorts!!!

Let me know if I can help out with any more questions!!! :p

I would love to go in early December. But i don't know if we could swing it then. We may have to go in Jan or Feb. Is the weather really that iffy? I will have to put the numbers together and see if we could swing it then. It is just that it is so close to christmas. We went for thanksgiving once and Easter and the weather was great at those times. Thank you so much for your help.

My trip in 2002 (feb. 1-5), the weather from what I remember was uneventful so it wasn't too cold, probably upper 60's to low 70's. The crowds were low, but not as low as the 3rd week of Jan. (last month). But I was there for the freezing weather (upper 40's for 2 days, then 60 and finally it reached 71 on that Sunday), but NO RAIN!! There's really no planning for the weather, just bringing both warm and cool clothes. Hope this helps!!! :smooth:

For us it is May. The weather is perfect & the crowds very reasonable. There were many rides we walked onto w/o a wait. We only used fast pass 3 times!

As CSMommy stated, May is a wonderful month to go. There are all kinds of great codes out there and the weather is perfect. Each time DH and I have gone in May it has only rained once on each trip. We only used Fastpass twice on our last trip as we did EE (Early Entry) and beat the offsite crowd to all the good rides. Let me know what you think about May. If you have any questions, just ask here or PM me. Have a blast planning! :smooth:

May sounds good too. It will give us extra time to save. I just don't want to wait too long, i want to get pregnant. LOL. I am 35 going on 36 this year. We have a 13 year old but we want to start a new family. Thank you so much for your help.

Your welcome. Many blessing on starting a new family!:Pinkbounc :bounce:

We like the first 2 weeks in Oct. Warm enough to swim and light attendance. The crowds are not as low as in the 1st week of Dec., Jan. and Feb., but the weather is more predictable. Just a reminder about Feb...avoid President's Weekend! Guidebooks like "The Unofficial Giude to WDW" give great advice on the subject of best time to go. Good idea taking at least one trip before having kids. My husband and I have great memories of our "BC"(before children) trips. Our firstborn was a "souvenier" of our 1988 trip!;)

We have gone twice right after the 1st Long weekend in Septmeber and the crowds have been great, the weather still nice and hot(if you like hot , we do) ha ha.

We are leaving this Saturday and I wish it wer ehotter as we are under knee deep snow right now!
