When is the best time of day to tour the WS? We will be there in June so knowing that it will be hot, we would prefer to tour it at night from about 5:00-9:00 (I know we won't see everything) but will it be crazy packed then as people get ready to see illuminations? Would we be better off touring from 11:00-4:00ish?

1. Nobody can see "everything."
But, you will be missing the entertainment (like Voices of Liberty and whomever is playing at Canada, etc.) during those hours.
The entertainment is a big part of WS to many.
2. Not so much IN the pavilions.
3. Based on what I mentioned in #1, I'd say yes.

We typically spend 15 to 20 hours in the world showcase every trip and still don't manage to see everything, so with just 4 hours, you're barely going to scratch the surface. The entertainment is our favorite part and most of that will be over by 5:00, so I would go earlier.

I agree with the previous posters that you will miss some of the entertainment with just a later in the day visit.

I understand your concern about the June heat. Let's face it, the June midday sun is brutal. But with the late sunset it will stay hot well into the evening.

Review the entertainment options, pick the ones you want to see, check the schedules and assemble a plan. Perhaps you can start your tour at 11am, take a break in the late afternoon and then return in the evening for Illuminations.

There is plenty of entertainment happening in the evenings in WS. You can see a schedule here: https://touringplans.com/epcot/showtimes

We go to WDW almost every August and, yes, the best time to tour WS, IMHO is early evening to close. We typically tour FW in the morning and do part of WS around lunch time and then head out of the park (we typically stay in an EP resort), go to the pool, relax and then go back out in the early evening. WS at night is absolutley lovely.

You don't have enough time to even scratch the surface that is Epcot. I would do Future World for 3-4 hours in the morning and take a break after lunch. Then I would return to World Showcase for at least 4 hours in the evening.

We will be able to see Illuminations a different night but will not have time for any touring. So our options are to either to future world in the morning and world showcase from around 11:00-4:00pm or to do future world with 3 fastpasses from 3:00-5:00 and world showcase from 5:00-9:00. In June, I think they have some concerts/ bands in the evening, right?

This is basically our plan this August! Planning to stay at Beach Club. We will have park hopper, so we will hop back for lunch or dinner then take a 2-3 hour break at the hotel. The heat is too much for me as I age over the years!

I prefer your second option as FW has lots of indoor aircon attractions to spend time between your fp+ reservations, and you get to experience WS during both day time and night time with less heat. The only problem is you may not be able to experience all the Tier 1 rides without long lines depending on your ride priority.

Have fun planning!
