Best time to ride FOP?

Thankfully, I was able to get two FOP Fastpasses this morning for our upcoming trip. I attempted to get a 9 am FP, to ride after Navi standby but couldn't get one. So I now have 12:15 and 5:00 for our two AK days. They actually work well in my tentative touring plans because they would be during transition times, going to/from AK due to our mid-afternoon breaks, so I really can't complain....I'm just so happy to have gotten them! (Haven't been to Pandora since opening) However, I can still modify times at the moment, and I'm wondering if there are more preferred times to ride FOP? Should I keep one for end of the night when Pandora will be all lit up? I know this would reduce my ability to possibly grab a fourth FP but I'd still like to know if visiting Pandora after dark would be worth switching my FP time or if we should just walk through Pandora at night without riding anything? TIA.

Just whenever you can. Both rides are indoors so it doesn't matter the time of day you ride. But if you're going to be in AK all day, I'd try for a FoP FP at night and in the morning hit other rides while the masses are going to Pandora

It doesn't really matter what time you ride the rides as a good chunk of the que is indoors, and the ride is entirely indoors.
However, as amazing as Pandora is to see during the day, its even better at night. So if you don't ride the rides after dark, at least walk through Pandora after dar D

In January, we went to Animal Kingdom for the afternoon to tour Pandora for the 1st time. We had FOP FP+ for 5:25-6:25pm. When we entered the queue, it was still light outside. When we exited, it was dark. It was awesome not only riding FOP, but being able to see the dramatic difference between Pandora during the day and at night.

That said, Pandora is very beautiful at night time, so you should find time to see it in the dark!

I will definitely make time to take in Pandora after dark! Is there anything to do other than the 2 rides? How much time should I allot for this?
