best time to purchase character meal

When is the best time to purchase character meal tickets? We are going Spring break 2015 & I know that in summer & busy times they hike up the cost of the meal. We are interested in Goofys kitchen for dinner & 2 people in our party have premium AP's. Also any tips on where the best prices you have purchased them would be good too. Thanks!

Do you mean the dining plan that is offered to guests staying onsite? The general consensus is that the dining plan is not really a good value. Things could always change, but assuming they continue to offer discounts associated with the AP for dining, it's probably better to just use the AP discount opposed to locking yourself into the dining plan.

No not the dining plan. Im talking about purchasing character breakfast meal passes. I know that Ares Travel & Getawaytoday sell character meal vouchers but I have never purchased these before. I was wondering if people purchased these in advance before their trip. I read somewhere that if you purchase them during the off season you can use them in the high season & save money by doing that so im wondering where people have purchased them etc.

hi! i purchased the vouchers this summer from getawaytoday.. it was great to have the characters meals paid for. super easy!!! i ve checked getawaytoday recently and they are the same price as this summer. my guess is they cost the same all year round...
