Best time to go to Disney in terms of crowds???

And also consider that come early January, a good number of refurbishment projects start... right now both Rockin Rollercoaster and Splash Mountain are out of commission.

We have gone in the middle of Sept. and there is hardley any crowds.

WOW, as the mother of three cheerleaders i really felt I had to respond. You are making them out to be a bunch of unruley creatures!!!
I am assuming that there is a cheer comp at MGM during Dec. I know we would love to attend at that time. We were there in March one year during the nationals comp and spent some time watching, maybe if you all did the same you could appreciate all the hard work these girls do all year to get where they are.
I must say most of the cheerleaders I have come to know are very polite and respectful, they are some of the nicest kids I know.

We went this year the second full week of November - the week after Jersey week - the weekend was busy, but by Monday and Tuesday we were walking on to pretty much everything. It was really a great time to be there, plus the Christmas decorations were up! We got to see the Osbourne (sp?) lights at MGM on their opening night - WOW - that in and of itself made the trip worthwhile. Also it was a last minute trip - we booked about 7 weeks out and were able to get lodging at VB and SSR without too much of a problem - even ADR wasn't too difficult! I highly recommend that time!
