Hey All,
This is probably my 4th change of date with this 1 trip. It's crazy trying to work around 2 opposite school schedules. DBF just found out he has to write his national paramedic exam after when our December trip was supossed to be. So instead of him worrying about that in Disney we decided to postpone.

If you made it through that spiel, you're a champ!:wizard: We have to postpone until after winter semester ends. The earliest we can go is around April 20th and the latest is Labour day weekend. What would be the best 2 weeks in that timeframe to go?

We've been to the parks at a lot of different times during the year, but our favorite time to visit is the 1st 2 weeks of May. Spring break is over, parks don't seem as busy, rooms are cheaper (than in April), and the weather is usually pretty nice.

We went this past May 2011 from the 23rd until June 2nd. It was a great time of year to go. The crowds were low, the weather wasn't too hot yet, and it was just absolutely wonderful. The only busy time was Memorial Day weekend. The Saturday of MD during Star Wars weekends when Star Tours had just reopened was insane. Sardines in a can. Every other day was great. I imagine the other parks were better than HS because of SWW and ST opening.

Excellent point. We were there last May for the opening day of Star Wars weekends when George himself was there. It truly was insane, You just kinda had to jump into the river of people and hope it carried you in the right direction. :rotfl2: Within a minute or 2 of the re-vamped star wars ride opening the wait went to about 3 hrs (I was looking for my photo, but can't find it at the moment). We managed to get right on with some blanket fast passes we were given when they screwed our tickets up over at Epcot. We rode that, got a bite to eat and got out of the studio's (and I like Star Wars.... I was 7 when "A New Hope" came out). We almost got ran over by a REALLY old woman in a princess Leia costume complete with Hair Bun wig riding an electric scooter thru the Star Wars ride line:eek:.... she was on a mission and you had better be smart enough to get out of her way.:) Star Wars weekends don't start until the second half of May so you should be alright.

Try touring plans or one of the other sites for the best dates, this is always the time of year we go. We leave on April 20th-26th all based upon spring break, easter and my wifes bun in the oven. Avoid spring break if you can and Easter by all means! :thumbsup2
