best time to fly?

Is there an advantage to flying on the weekdays vs. the weekend as far as fare prices
go? I'm planning our first trip to OKW, thinking of booking for the long MLK weekend in
January. Are there certain days that are less expensive to fly?

if you can fly on tues/wed/thurs in either direction it will normally give you the better price but not always. it depends on the fare you are trying to get. some require travel on off peak days as mentioned and fri/sat/sun/mon are the high peak days and will put you into a higher fare category. some fares you can travel any day as long as that class of seat is open for purchase you can get the lowest fare. can you tell me what the market is? (I mean what cities?)
