Best time to dine at Narcoossee's for fireworks?

I'll keep this short and sweet.
We'll be there in August of this year, and we want to eat at Narcoossee's and be able to see the MK fireworks (I believe the pump the music in...no?).
When would be the best time to make a reservation in order to accomplish this?

I'd say check the Magic Kingdom park hours to see when the fireworks will be and then make dinner ressies around that.

Hi, this our first Disney trip and we are staying at CL so we have the IP to do our reservations. The night we are going Narcoossee's they made our reservations for 9:45 PM on a night when the fireworks are scheduled for 10 PM. I hope this helps. When we wanted to watch the fireworks from California Grill I made our reservations for an hour and a half ahead of the fireworks time. We ate slowly and enjoyed all 3 courses. Our desserts arrived soon before the fireworks started. I would suggest and hour to an hour and a half. If you are scheduled to be seated within a half hour of the fireworks I would suspect that many people finishing meals would stay and linger over dessert if they liked there view from the table and leave after the fireworks. That is certainly what we did at California Grill.

Wishes was at 8pm this past Sunday night.

My gf and I had a 7:55pm ADR but got there at 7:40-ish. We asked for a window-table with the best view possible for Wishes and about 5 min. later we got a great table right at the window.

People from inside Narcoossee's will go out on the deck and at the table next to us a little boy was tapping the glass to get people to move and all eventually obliged the young fella.

They dim the lights and play the Wishes audio. It was great!

We elected to stay indoors as it was quite chilly/breezy.
