We plan on purchasing three-day park hoppers for our visit the first week of May (staying off-site, HOJO). When is the best time to buy the tickets? Mainly wondering if there's a good chance the prices will go up or down before our trip.

Figure we'll go through Disney or AAA unless there's a better option. Thanks!

The experts will soon give you their opinion, but from what I've read, right now there's the $199 usd bonus 3 day park hopper tickets, valid until May 28th.
You can buy it directly from their website, I just bought yesterday our 4 day-hoppers, they both include one Magic Morning.
Good luck! :wizard:

OP, you are going during the current promotion. Prices won't go down, and even if prices raise before then (unlikely) the promo would stay the same.

I have also heard that if you call Getawaytoday and buy over the phone you can get the best deals.

As far as last year goes, tickets went up in the summer, so now would probably be the least expensive.

Maybe this is a silly question, but I'm assuming you can add on more days from there, and still have a special price?

If you go to the tickets section of the Disney website, there are promo prices listed for 3 to 6 day parkhoppers.

You would be better off buying the ticket for you length of stay if a special offer fits. If you upgrade at the parks to a longer length ticket, you upgrade to the Gate Price loosing the savings.

Right. So from the Disneyland website, if I do the Disneyland hotel with a 6 day park hopper for my dates, I get $3,504.00. But if I do the special for the 3 day parkhoppers and get them for 6 days, and do the 25% off special on the hotel, so both of them separately, they add up to $3,069.00.

Don't book the package. Book your room separately and buy the 6-day promo tickets. If you upgrade at the park, you will lose your savings.

Usually it's better to do seperate as in your case. While you may of looked at the three day special.

If you go to the main ticket page you will notice that it's good on 3 to 6 days PH tickets. Each type is $15 off which equate to getting the hopping feature for free.

Do notice they have to be used by May 28th. And aren't good 3/30/12 - 4/15/12 .

If it's cheaper to book separate - no, I wouldn't book the package. Nor would I upgrade anything at the park. I'd buy the 6 day from the start.

skiingfast - that's exactly where I went, for the 6 day hopper special.
