Best time to buy AP?

I had a platinum pass that I purchased last summer to go to BG Williamsburg in the summer and See World Orlando in the fall/winter. It is now expired, and our next trip to a park is in October. Is there a best time between now and October to get a new pass? I don't want to end up waiting and the prices go up.

I haven't done this for a few years. But all my previous times that I purchased, usually via SP and once via SW TX I always started out in Orlando and it was fine.

SeaWorld AP's are automatically activated as of the date of purchase. They are valid for one year from the day they are bought, not from the day they are first used to enter the park.

Too bad. It must have changed when they changed to these new style passes? I had a pass years ago and back then it was activated on first use.

The plat pass via Seasame Place is currently good for the end of this year and all 2023.
