Just wondering when you thought would be the best/worst time of year of an Escape wedding outside at the Boardwalk?

Less crowded, nice weather, good price, etc... Is there any inexpensive times during Spring or is spring basically all peak season?

TIA!

I'm pretty sure escape weddings are the same price all year round, you'd just have to look at hotel costs and what qualifies as value/regular season.

March and April are usually pretty rough for crowds because of Spring Break and lots of school age kids have their easter vacations around then. I'd just avoid Easter the year you plan on getting married.

Mouseweddings.com is a great resource- it has lots of information on Escape weddings and the locations :goodvibes

Thanks! I'll check that out

How's May at WDW? Too hot? Crowds? Peak season?

We are looking for:

-Not too crowded (doesnt need to be dead, I just don't want our ceremony to be disrupted from excess crowds)
-Cheaper resort rates (will barely have enough to cover the Escape ceremony & I want to splurge on the horse drawn landau!!)
-Not too humid or sticky hot

Is there a realistic time of year to accomodate all of this?

We were down the first weekend of May and it was great. Wonderful weather and the parks are not too crowded. I think it would be a great choice for a wedding, but I would probably go with the 1st 2 weeks because after that schools start getting out and the crowds pick up.

we went the end of may of this year, at first it wasnt too bad, but then when memorial day came around, the crowds picked up real quick, and it got humid and even rainy. so i would agree, go the first two weeks, we heard that the weeks before we got there was real nice, the crowds were lower, and the weather was more bearable.

I was there from 4/30 - 5/4 this year. The crowds were awesome. The weather was great - it did get hot in the afternoons and we were told that it was "unusually hot" for that time of the year. But it never rained and it was not ver humid. If you pick May, the first 2 weeks would be the best choice.

Good luck!
