We have only been a couple of times in November. The weather is good and things are starting to get Christmasy! We found the parks quiet until the couple of days before Thanksgiving when suddenly they were packed.

Welcome to the boards :)

Our fave time of year is October, any later its not warm enough for us but we like August weather.
October weather is still very good, crowds are low and there are a lot of Halloween activities.

Hello and welcome to the Dis:goodvibes

I have been in June, August, December and October and although Ive enjoyed them all, October would be my choice, great weather and not too warm, Food and drink festival at Epcot, Halloween, and if you time it just right and go at the end of October, you might even be there to see the Christmas decorations go up around the parks and resorts in November:thumbsup2

We have been , May, June, July, September, October and November. Out of them late Sept early October is our favourite, the weather is generally great, the parks are quiet and you have the great Halloween theme going on.:thumbsup2

It's always MAY for us. The weather is beautiful (hot but not too humid) and the parks aren't too busy.

We have been in February and July. Out of the two months my favourite is July because I just love the heat.

The best times to go I feel are late April through early May (missing Easter), and October through early November.

Nice sunny weather but not too hot, and manageable crowd levels.

We've been in Mar, Apr, May, June, July, Aug, Sep & Oct - I love May and Oct - the weather is perfect at both times and crowds are fine.

Having said that though, I would really like to try the end of Nov to see all the Xmas stuff and before it gets too busy and too cold for me!!!

November is my favourite time to go, its quiet and I still find the weather really hot. :goodvibes

We have been in February, September and October. By far, as far as crowd levels are concerned, September is the quietest we have experienced and the weather is still lovely (although it is still in hurricane season). We loved October, though, because even with increased crowd levels, the parks were still very manageable and we loved MNSSHP and the Food and Wine Festival.

In the future, when we're not tied to school holidays, we will probably always go in September or October.

Just remember Sept could possibly be really busy if they give free dining away. They are doing it this Sept so if its a success they will do it again, can make dining onsite too busy and parks busier than normal.

We liked our trips in September (not too hot or too humid crowds were much more manageable) last week of November (cooler but Christmas decorations up everywhere in WDW magical) and February after Valentines (not crowded or hot). Plus going off-season brought down out holiday costs so it worked out great for our budgets each year and easier for DS to cope with when he was younger. Now he's a bit older (7) we don't mind going in June although it is much more humid, hot and busy.. lots of schools are off on vacation from various states, we have both had these weeks allocated by our employer so we make use of them next year we've got 2 weeks in August the price difference is £1000 more than this year's holiday costs:scared1:

Hiya,
we're going in April this time - as we DON'T like the heat quite so much...

Last time it was early October , the lines were not very long at the parks, the heat was ok, a bit humid, but we didn't like the hurricane much!!! (Driving back from Kennedy to Orlando we had to stop as we could not see the front of OUR car!!!!:scared1: )

Cheers,
Tessa

Hi there
Welcome to the boards!
We like November the best to be honest. The weather is good not to hot or cold. Crowds are low until Thanksgiving also.

I think you just need to get your BF to go to DIsney and he will soon come around to your way of thining! ;)

We have been in March, August, September and January! May was hot and busy (I think we were there during the spring break), and September was pretty warm, but really quiet. August was really busy and baking hot (not a good time to go). Late January was really fun! It was COLD!! Couldn't believe it, but quite enjoyed wearing jeans and stuff rather than totally baking. It was really quiet those last two weeks of Jan, and we had a wonderful time. Never thought I'd have photos of me on splash Mountain and playing mini golf in hat gloves and scarf!

I really like to have nice weather, so I can wear shorts etc

Finding the right balance of having the weather not too hot and the parks not too crowded is the key.
Unfortunatley with Joshua at school and Julie a teacher it is difficult for us, last 2 years we went in August but whilst I was ok they really struggled in the heat.
Hence it's Easter 2008 next for us, not the ideal time to go as weather is unpredictable and it's busy too - much better for Josh though.

as for your boyfriend...... i know that feeling mine was anti disney at first, weve since been to disneyland paris 3 times lol and looking forward to florida!! id say tell him about the motor stunt car show and disneys wide wrld of sports, if hes into that stuff. are you going to universal? if you are he might enjoy some of the stuff there if hes into films (my boyfriend is)
if he likes roller coasters etc tel him about all the cool rides like rock n roller coaster, tower of terror etc
