best time of year to go??

I would say yes ,qualified by it may not be. usually first week of Dec has been "short and tee shirt" weather during the day, may be coolish( like add a sweatshirt ) at night. my kids usually swim but the temps are iffy, I remember one night it got down to mid 30s but warmed up the next day again. same with Jan. this has been 5 times so either we have just hit it right or your chances of decent weather are pretty good.
