Best time of day to book a Princess lunch?

We're doing the Princess lunch at Auberge De Cendrillion - people have said that out of hours is the best time to book a character lunch, as the children get more attention then, but what time do you think is best? Us adults could eat at any time but the kids can't wait, so it has to be somewhere around lunchtime. Do you think 1145 would be ok, or would that be starting to get very busy? Thanks!

We've never eaten lunch that early because that will be 10.45 UK time... I've always booked for 12.30 and that's been ok. When we ate at Auberge, the princesses etc came at dinner time, we booked for 6.30pm and it was great.

I don't think why 11.45 would be a problem, it may be very quiet and you'll get more time with the characters.

When you say the princesses came at dinner time, you don't mean they're only there in the evening, do you?! <panic>

No, they're there at lunchtime too.........

Personally, I find midday is a great time to go into the restaurants- They're normally very quiet then.

Auberge doesn't open till 12, and that's the best (lunch)time to go. In fact, watch the Sleeping Beauty show and immediately line up outside the doors before 12. They open the doors at 12 and you have to wait a while for all the children to have individual pictures with Cinderella, but you get seated and not only do you get quicker service when there aren't so many people but the character stuff starts almost immediately and they have more time to spend with you than later when the restaurant is full. Ask to be seated in view of the fireplace so that you can see the dancing.

It's lunch with the princesses now but last year it was dinner... Sorry my message was confusing

Yeah, 12 is a good time to book but get there 10(ish) mins earlier as people do start waiting/queueing outside the restaurant to get in. It's probably not a big deal I guess but when you're a few people down the line waiting to get in, it can feel like a long time as you'll have to wait for those in front of you to have their pics taken etc and it can take a while. So get in there early lol and you can be seated quicker!

Im hoping to get a seat by the dancefloor so will be getting there early.
