My kids are anxiously awaiting our trip on Tues and I have planned each day in advance. However DD8 really wants to try the Kitchen sink sundae at Beaches and Cream.

What time of day is it not too crowded?
Should we eat in place of a meal (lunch) or after? Anyone done it and have any suggestions???

Hi, we are planning to get the kitchen sink also. DD 7 is really looking forward to it.

From what I've read here on the boards the earlier you go the better. It is a small restaurant and fills up fast. I know someone said in the evening and later at night it is very crowded.

I think we will try on an off park day and go around opening.

Have fun, and I hope your family can finish it. I know we are going to try really hard. 2 adults, 2 kids.

Have a wonderful vacation.

We went at night. We had dinner around 5pm. Then went to Beaches & Cream around 7:30. We didn't have ps's & didn't expect to get in. Well after about a 5 min. wait, we were seated and ordered it. Its hugh, filling & filled with brownies & whipped cream. THey make a little scene when you order it, they flash the lights on & off, ring a bell. Its lots of fun. 5 of us couldn't eat it all. Ask for extra plates, because by the time you 1/2 into eating it, its one big mess.

The earlier the better. We went about 7:00 and it was packed. We had the famous "Kitchen Sink". There was 5 of us and we didn't make a dent in it. I felt rather bad for wasting so much. Not like you can get a doggie bag to go for this one.

Be sure you get someone to take pictures. Take more than a couple. Those were the only 2 pic's that didn't turn out on that roll of film. Oh well that's one that will just be a memory in my head and not on film. Enjoy...I'm sure you and the kids will get a kick out of it, mine did.

I would suggest having it for lunch....this way you can walk off all the calories, LOL. Last time we had it, we went around 2 ish & had to wait 15-20 minutes for our table. This was just May 31st. There were 5 of us & we finished it (2 adults, 2-10yr olds & a 17yr old)!!! We did make "piggies" of ourselves, but loved every minute of it! My prudish 14 yr old daughter decided she wasn't making a fool of herself with us & ate lunch in Epcot at Marroco by her self. My next trip to Orlando is for Universal & I am thinking of going to B&C just for the Kitchen Sink.:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:
