Best ticket for quick entry

Hello there

I'm sure the answer for this is buried somewhere in the forum, but it was a bit tricky for me to find.

Can someone please help with some advice regarding the tickets that will allow quickest entry into DL? I believe that purchasing on their website will result in a print out that we have to line up to redeem for actual tickets (?). Is there anywhere I can buy some tickets that would allow us to go directly from security check to turnstile?

Unfortunately my parents can only spare 1 day while they are in town, so I want to make sure I do this correct to maximise time in the park.

If you buy your tickets from DL website you will get an email that includes your ticket. Print it off, take it to the turnstile, they scan it and in return give you the regular ticket.

As Imdboss said, if you buy tickets directly from Disneyland.com, you can print the voucher at home and then take that directly to the ticket turnstiles. I've had good luck doing that recently, so that is what I would choose.

You can buy actual tickets at the Disney Store or Safeway/Vons, but as stated above, if you buy online, just show your email on your phone and they scan and give you a ticket!! So you don't even have to print anything out (although I always do for backup!!)

Some of the discounted sites also give you actual e-tickets you take directly to the gates. I know way.com does, but parksavers/expedia and others that say they are dated vouchers have to be taken to a ticket booth first.

get away today sends you tickets, you wont have to exchange it for anything, so you can go straight to the gate. i would show up a bit earlier so you can get your picture taken, and a cast member will have you sign the back of it

My Costco Packages always have hard plastic cards I take right to the gate... I have them in my desk from my last two trips.

I'm in Canada, without a costco card, so it seems that the disneyland.com website print-out, to swap for a ticket at the gate/turnstile (rather than ticket booth) is the best way to go.

Are you staying at a Good Neighbour hotel? I think a lot of them sell tickets.
