I know there is an award for the best thread, but what about the thread that cause the most negative post.
Back in 2010, I was meeting friends from the UK at DisneyWorld. Large family,so stayed in a vacation home. This was over the Fourth of July. Since we were staying off site, we decided to be able to use night time EMH at MK, we would rent a camp site for that night. At 10 bucks apiece it was a bargain. Well I don't know if anyone remembers that thread, but WOW, people were out to tar and feather me. I was even threatened in one post, then the moderators removed it.
Does anyone remember a thread that brought out the worst in people?
By the way, we canceled the camp-site way before the trip. When sitting in a air conditioned room, and thinking about it, it sounded like a great idea.
But we never would of made it to the end of EMH, it was 99 degrees, and by midnight, we were done!:rotfl2:

You're a brave soul to open up about that potential gaff! haha People sure do have "opinions" on these boards which makes some great reading for the rest of us popcorn::

I think the most "interesting" threads I can remember had to do with refillable mugs. And when you step back and look at the world with a eye towards keeping things in perspective, you have to wonder why people get so hot and bothered by a mug. There are more important things to worry about ... like budging in front of people who already staked out their parade locations hours in advance. ;)

I remember I got called a "poor person" because I was advocating eating off site. That if I couldn't afford to eat on-site I shouldn't be visiting Disney.

I always wonder why people get so worked up over the mugs. It just seems like such a small thing to get worked up about

I know there are several "hot button" topics that get up a lot of ire on the DCL Forum. Saving chairs by the pool. Wearing shorts in the Main Dining Room (although now they are arguing because DCL changed the policy, and shorts are *OK* in the MDR). Saving seats in the theaters. To tip or not to tip. Once I see a post heading in that direction, I tend to unsubscribe & stay very far away!

oh boy........i have been raked over the coals a couple times, but, i assure you, i knew it going in. i always refer to this .................

MUCH madness is divinest sense

To a discerning eye;

Much sense the starkest madness.

’T is the majority

In this, as all, prevails.

Assent, and you are sane;

Demur,—you ’re straightway dangerous,

And handled with a chain.........Emily Dickinson
