Best things for a 3.5 yo at Epcot?

We went to Epcot in May and it was super busy and didn't get to see much except characters (which was awesome). I am going back in October with my 3.5 dd, what are some of the best things for her. Usually we stick with what my son 13 likes to see and do there, but he isn't coming this time...

My DD's really enjoy the Kidcot Fun Stops in each country. DD#2 has been going to Epcot since she was 2 and some of her favorite things are:
The Living Seas ( be sure and check out Turtle Talk with Crush)
Journey Into Imagination
Test Track
Spaceship Earth
For some reason she says that Living with the Land is her favorite ride
Innoventions
If possible try to catch Miyuki, the Japanese candy lady---she is awesome!!

the food?

Our kids were in tears about half-way through Epcot the first time...even doing the KidCot stations. They hated it.

The second time we went, they were better...but still pretty bored.
The World Showcase just isn't that fun for little ones this age.

My three year old liked the food, but that was about it. Oh - and seeing Mulan in China.

I think Turtle Talk with Crush is closing for rehab, from what I heard - until November. We're REALLY bummed because we forgot about this in May when we went.

If the play fountains are working on the path between WS and Spaceship Earth then that would be agood stop. We spent a full 45 minutes there when our son was 3.5. He also liked the garden maze in England as well as some of the kidcot stuff. He mostly just wanted to do the kraft stuff and did not want to make the full circle of countries. He also liked climbing on the viking ship. The friendship boats worked well too.

I think you should not over sell it and just let your dd select the way. You may see very little yourself but the short ones can make almost any space a low key adventure without the (good) overstimulation of the MK.

My son loves the dinosaurs in Ellen's Energy Adventure. I just cover his ears when the "big bang" happens.

Our DD absolutely loved the boat ride in Mexico. Since it is never crowded we just kept going on it over and over. I think it reminded her of It's a Small World, which was closed when we went last time.

She also loved Space Ship Earth and Journey into your Imagination. From what I hear, Soarin' might appeal to her too. We are planning on taking our DD4 on that ride on our next trip this Dec.

And the kidcot stops. She loved making the mask and took it with her everywhere.

The first time I went to Epcot I was 3. My favorite rides were:

Spaceship Earth
Living with the Land
Horizons ( why did they get rid of it)

I loved the Malestrom too, but that might have been the trip when I was 5

My son will be 3 1/2 when we go in September. We took him to Epcot when he was 1 1/2 and he loved it.
The Living With The Land boat ride was his favorite. We also had a 2 1/2 year old with us and she liked that one aswell. There was just something about those huge veggies that made them go nuts.
They also really enjoyed Maelstrom and Innoventions. The bug tunnel was a huge hit.

When we went in Jan my DD was 3.5yrs, she loved the kidcot stops, plus the living seas area. We stayed the entire day at epcot with no complaining. We didn't do any of the long shows, and we avoided the Norway rife because I know that the trolls would scare her. She LOVED the kids area in the living seas, and the hidden characters were fun.

My 3 year old loves Soarin, The ride in the Land, and Innoventions. She would stay all day in Innoventions if we let her!

Check out the "Fun Stops" at each country if she likes to create things.

It has been a couple of years since we did this, but the Garden Grill rotating restaurant in the Land pavillion has a character ice cream sundae snack mid day. It is called an ice cream social and you do need to make a reservation. If you don't mind her getting a sugar high it could be fun. We had lots of character interaction--Mickey, Pluto and Chip and Dale. The restaurant revolves and is neat. Cost is not bad for a character "meal" either.

In the Living Seas they have a segment where the kids can talk with crush i am eleven and enjoyed the show.

Please don't be put off by this!! It is all down to your kids, and what they like (and are like) my DS has been at ages 3 & 4 and loves World Showcase. He is happy to tag along with Mum & Dad. He loves the train in Germany (understatement) and loves to poke around all the shops (Germany and Japan are favorites) He is happy to play with his toy cars when we want to sit and have a quick snack (very useful when food & wine festival is on) He is a super active little boy so we were pretty amazed that he was happy to be so aminable when we wanted to stop for food, he likes to try a few things, but he isn't all that adventurous with food. He loves to say hello to all the CM's in their language (especially the ladies in Japan) He loves meeting the characters and there are a few to be found in WS. We have a few grumbles about the walk, but that is really all. We stop a lot in the shade, there are plenty of seats, make sure he gets lots of water, and a treat or two along the way. No meltdowns in World Showcase for us yet....it's MGM he isn't keen on!!!! Quick tip, if you are half way around the world and your pre-schooler has had enough, hop on one of the boats that go back across the lake, saves tired little feet, and they might enjoy the ride too.
