Best thing I ate at Disneyland

Top 3: Carthay Sopes @ Carthay Circle Lounge (honorable mention - Vietnamese Beef Lettuce Wraps and Moroccan Chicken Meatballs), Quesabirria @ Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill and Banyan Beef Skewer @ Bengal BBQ

My family loves this! I thought it was good but wasn't as wowed as they were. I hear that Tropical Hideaway will soon offer a peach cobbler. I'm looking forward to trying that.
I hope they keep the pineapple upside down sundae. It seemed super popular when we got them (we got it twice).

The cobbler sounds great. I’m just glad they are getting more offerings that are similar to aloha isle in MK. I love dole whips but like trying new variations too.

On my most recent trip a week and a half ago..my favorite thing was the Strawberry Shortcake Macaron from Jolly Holiday Bakery. It was INCREDIBLE and it was so good that on the last day I bought another one and it made it all the way home where I ate it 4 days later and it was still magical sugar deliciousness!!!View attachment 991940
I had that on my last trip. So good!

OMG, that was the BEST!!! Warm, gooey, with a pitcher of white and dark chocolate and a scoop of vanilla ice cream! I'd almost forgotten about it. I'm still so angry at the changes they made to JK that I've refused to go back and I doubt they still have the same dessert.
Me, too. Walked by it last time we were there in disbelief. They still have chocolate bread pudding on the menu but I don't know if it's the same since after seeing what they did to that restaurant I had zero interest in going there.

How sweet is the sundae? I love Dole Whip but I'm not big on super sweet items. Or maybe I am given that my favorite thing post was chocolate bread pudding!

Now that I think about it, one of my other all time favorite things was so simple -- one of those fresh pineapple spears they keep on ice in Adventureland. Super hot day and I don't normally think of a piece of fruit as something I'd get as a snack at DL, but omg, it was SO GOOD.

The first one we got had more caramel sauce so it was a bit sweeter. The second one had less sauce and felt a bit more balanced to me. I didn’t feel the cake was overly sweet. I wanted to share with my husband but he wanted his own. Lol. So he twisted my arm and we each got one. 😆

They also used to sell dark chocolate dipped pineapple spears and they were SO good!!! I know they brought them back briefly after COVID. But I didn’t see any on this trip.
