What has been THE best experience you have ever done while at one of the parks or resorts that anyone can do/pay for?

My vote is for the Firework Cruise. (either MK or Epcot) Next to my DD first Charactor Experiance with Minnie Mouse. Teh Firework Cruise was my most magical family moment at Disney. Just something about being on the water surrounded by my family with the sights and sounds of the fireworks was something I will never forget.

I know this isn't what you're looking for, but our best day at Disney occurred one year on Christmas Eve. Our family's favorite Epcot attraction is Soarin' and thanks to my superior (now useless) FP skills, we enjoyed the attraction 4 times.

Just loved breezing by the 300 minute wait.

Ah. The good old days. Can't see this ever happening again.

For a real answer, we look forward to doing the Keys to the Kingdom tour. Getting close...younger son will be 15 this year! (16 y.o. is the minimum, I believe) That's what I'd do for a splurge.

Enjoy!

We pulled into Pop at about 3pm for our first visit. We registered, looked at our room, then hopped on a bus to MK. We met Mickey in his theater (no wait) getting ready for a show. We walked up main street and the Dream Along with Mickey show began. We watched the show and left for our ADR at Chef Mickey's where Mickey cooked us dinner. The kids were thrilled and I felt like this was a great first visit/first day.

Dinner at V&As in the QVR! 10 courses of pure heaven!
Poly CL with a MK view, when the kids were little we could watch wishes in our Pjs!
When the boys are older KTTK tour! 4 more years for that one!
Sunrise Safari for AKL CL guests. It was a great way to see the safari and see where they take care of the animals.

The interactions with Streetmosphere characters---both in Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. If you play along, you can have an amazingly fun time.

Our best night at WDW was when we did MNSSHP during our first ever trip. We all dressed up like Pirates, and had sooo much fun all night! Can't wait to go do it again in September!

We did the Segway Tour at Epcot and loved it. My husband said it was the most fun he ever had at Walt Disney World!

It's a toss up between the backstage safari tour at Animal Kingdom and afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian.

Got to the "hot seat" at Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, now better known as Toy Story Mania. Won 64,000 points, got my pins, hat, and polo shirt, which I have worn only once! Great and heart pounding experience!

My wife surprised us one year with AKL CL for last half of a stay and the sunrise safari. Our boys were 12 and 7 at the time. Great memories and well worth it!

Last trip we stayed in a 2 bedroom savannah view at AK. It was so great to relax on the porch and watch the animals. The keepers were so great too answering all the kids questions.

When dh and I were younger (with no kids), we would rollerblade around Wilderness Lodge. So many great memories and it was free!

Although it was completely random, getting chosen as Grand Marshalls of the Magic Kingdom Parade in 2007! Best experience ever!

We had so much fun at MNSSHP. DS got a pirate makeover at the Pirate's League earlier that day and we dressed like pirates. It was a really special night!

To me the best thing is when my daughters make their "Future" choices in Spaceship Earth and we send them to our emails. If we save them to our computers we can enjoy them over and over. Some turn out better than others, of course. They disappear after a bit if you don't save them to your computer.

Time.

Doing more days onsite! Did 10 days, 9 nights at POR, our longest stay ever. Our adult kids had a separate reservation at POFQ that was for a different period of time but overlapped ours. Therefore, we could slow down, relax, and spend time on our own for 4 days before they showed up. What did we do to celebrate our 30th? We celebrated by being kids and got pictures with a lot of characters and princesses.

Time is the fire in which we burn. Spend as long as you possibly can!

wow, we made it two entire posts before fast pass was introduced.

the "good old days", when a person could ride a ride 4 times without waiting, while others sat in a 300 minute standby.

good riddance to the good old days!

But everyone had the same access to FP-. This seems to imply that those waiting in standby couldn't use FP- for some reason.

I myself loved going on Soarin' multiple times in one day using FP-; I'm going to miss that! I guess I'd describe myself as a "ride repeater"" - mostly Soarin', TSMM, and BTMRR. I could ride all three over and over! I get so much joy from it. Now I'm going to be a dedicated rope-dropper.

Even though I've been to the Parks so many times, I haven't done very many special tours or events, but I would have to say the most fun I've had was doing MNSSHP! It was by far the most amazing experience I've had at the Parks, and I did it solo, so I can't imagine how much fun I would have had with my family or friends! The parade and fireworks are awesome, but the best part was the atmosphere, and admiring everyone's costumes. I met so many wonderful people from all over the world...it was a big, fun party!
