Here is a weird one - I HATE milk but really like thick shakes. :confused3 You know the ones that taste like and have the consistency of ice cream. Kind of like McDonalds ones.:cloud9:

Where on property will I get the best one??

Well, the shakes in 50's P/T are ridiculously thick. You really do need that spoon!! And they are really tasty....a must do for us each and every trip.

Oh we had an absolutely unbelieveably divine one at Beaches and Cream at Beach Club :worship: I'm getting :faint: thinking about it :rotfl:

I second the 50's Prime Time shake, love the chocolate! We also loved the shakes from Sci-Fi too, very thick. The cookies and cream was delish!

If you like thick milkshakes, you should try the one at Sci Fi....it took almost an hour before I can start drinking it!:lmao::lmao:

I haven't actually had milkshakes at Disney, but I imagine you could request them to be made thick anywhere you go.

I used to work at a Steak n Shake, and if someone requested a thick shake, it would be made without actually adding much, if any, milk. If someone wanted a thin shake, then they would add more milk to the mix. So as long as the places at Disney make real milkshakes and don't just dispense them from a machine, you should be able to get a thick shake upon request.

Don't get the ones at WCC. They are the thin runny kind.

That's the exact opposite of what we experienced when we went. My son's shake was so thick that he was turning red trying to suck it through his straw. :rotfl: The shake was a really tasty blueberry. Yum!

We HAVE to stop at Ghirardelli (DTD) several times each trip. Wouldn't wait in that long line if the shakes weren't worth it!!

PB&J shake at PT Cafe is fantastic and can be ordered "to go" at the counter.

Sci-Fi Dinner is also right up your alley! Love the oreo!

Oh they all sound so delicious! I can't wait to try them! I feel the pounds going on as I type :rotfl:

Do they do good flavours??

Both places are on my ADR list

Unfortunately B&C doesn't do ADRs...but they have a walk up/carry out line for ice cream. Its a small place and without ADRs, there is usually a wait. To avoid waiting, just get there early than most people eat meals (right at 11 for lunch, or before 5 for dinner.) We've never waited very long- but would wait hours for that greasy diner food  and a milkshake.

any of the shakes at 50's PT - all are thick and delicious!
