Best Themed pool?

I hate the heat and prefer cold weather but I think the pool was a bit too cold. lol It also wasn't typical August death heat the few days we were at the Poly so I'm sure that played a role in it feeling extra cold. Either way the cold wasn't the biggest issue. My kids just found the pool to not be that fun, small and a bit boring. I thought it was very much overhyped. We moved over to BC and they were in heaven. They are big pool kids and would probably be fine with a pool only vacation if I let them!

My kids preferred the Poly pools (actually I think they enjoyed the Oasis pool more then the main pool) over SAB. They spent more time at the quiet pool when we stayed at the BC. But as you say, your kids are pool kids. I don’t think mine are. Mine will swim daily, but after a half an hour or so, they’re done. That probably makes the difference.

Yes definitely! They spent hours in SAB. Some days they stayed at the pool while we went to the parks. They loved it that much.

As far as carrying out the Theme to the nth degree,I have to go with Grand Slam Pool @ Disney's All-Star Sports Resort(especially at night).

As much as I love Storm Along Bay, my favorite pool in Disney is the Big Blue Pool at Art of Animation Resort. I LOVE to hear the music underwater. The theme of the pool is the cutest!
