What is the best themed pool at a Disney World Hotel?
I am sure I did not list everyone's favorite.....
Just comment on what pool is your favorite if it is not on the list..

I was going to put the Grand Slam Pool on the list but forgot.....Love that pool as you know. :flower1:

And I have Boardwalk Inn twice for some reason......That is what happens when you are in a hurry at work.... oops

Honestly depends on the age of your kids -- when daughter was younger, she LOVED the pool @ POFQ because the slide was out of the dragons mouth. As she got older, she prefers the bigger Poly pool and slide. Me, I just want a pool to relax and drink a pina colada in. :goodvibes

Grand Slam is not as "glamorous" as many Pools, but I think it and Restaurantosaurus are 2 of the best-themed places in all of WDW(Restaurantosaurus just has layers and layers of theming).

I voted for the Luna Park Pool at Boardwalk, my kids love being spat out of the giant scary clown! They say the slide is awesome. DH and I love the Leaping Horse Libations carousel themed pool bar and the industrial floaties. We had a great time just floating around and around and pruning up with a slight buzz..... the slide makes a slight current that will spin your drunk butt around the same large track for hours.....

Before staying at the Boardwalk, the kids really liked the Fuentes del Morro pool at CBR, but now that they have experienced the giant barfing clown slide, there's no comparison. DH and I liked the zero entry aspect as well, but they didn't have the giant floaties and the bar is too far away......

Stormalong bay! We love beach club, and their pool is the icing on the cake! The lazy river, the slide, the sand bottom. Perfection!

We are staying at Coronado this trip and I'm already missing the beach club pool.

We've enjoyed all the pools at the resorts we've stayed at, but my favorite is the Poly pool. I love the slide and the overall atmosphere. Also, for me, it doesn't get any better than having a distant view of the castle across seven seas lagoon :cloud9:.

I think so. The theme of BC/YC is seaside resorts. The pool has a sand bottom, a shipwreck, a lazy river and the sheer size of the pool makes it seem like you are at so much more than just a "pool" but perhaps somewhere by the ocean. Add in Beaches & Cream and Hurricane Hanna's a few steps away ... I think it all goes perfectly with the overall theme of those resorts.

Definitely for being the most elaborate, but other than the shipwreck,is it really the Best-themed pool?

For my kids Stormalong Bay is their top pool. Prior to staying at BC, the kids loved the Poly pool & that was before it was refurbished. The three are looking forward to do a comparison of the two on our trip next year - doing split stay at Poly & YC.

I voted poly because you can see MK from the pool:lovestruc However my first choice would be the Grand just because I love the pool chairs! Then storm along bay!!

Stormalong Bay! It was nearly empty all of our April trip because it was sliiightly cold out for swimming. I'll never forget floating in an empty stormalong bay with my family watching the Epcot fireworks go off on one side then watching the Hollywood Studios fireworks go off.

I love Stormalong Bay, but I think the theming of the AoA pools are super cute so I voted for those.

SAB hands down.

Poly was a let down for us. Too small, the water was FREEZING in the middle of August, no shade and just not very exciting. My kids prefer CBR pool over the Poly pool.

BWI pool is awesome too! My DD loves the slide. I did it about 50 times last trip with DD and I must say it is the best pool slide on property.

That sounds amazing! We want freezing in the middle of August. :)

My kids don’t love swimming in the summer at Disney because they find the pools too warm.

I hate the heat and prefer cold weather but I think the pool was a bit too cold. lol It also wasn't typical August death heat the few days we were at the Poly so I'm sure that played a role in it feeling extra cold. Either way the cold wasn't the biggest issue. My kids just found the pool to not be that fun, small and a bit boring. I thought it was very much overhyped. We moved over to BC and they were in heaven. They are big pool kids and would probably be fine with a pool only vacation if I let them!
