We went to Teppan Edo in 2009 because we were looking for a place that did NOT serve Thanksgiving dinner. We had our traditional turkey dinner at home before we left. It was absolutely wonderful--good food, great service, kids enjoyed watching the chef, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate my son's food allergies and to make my DH's birthday dinner special.
When planning our 2009 T'giving dinner, I used 2008's Thanksgiving menus on wdwinfo.com, and I just checked to see if there was one for 2009 but the links don't seem to be working. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but most other WDW restaurants were doing some type of T'giving meal and Teppan Edo stood out because they weren't serving traditional food. I think that Garden Grill's regular menu sounds like yummy comfort food and perfect for that holiday.
