Hi

Our first trip to Disney will be in September, and I have only just read all the information about making reservations.

As we haven't been before - can folks recommend good places for Table Service meals - IE its a good place and offers great value???

Ive been through the threads and this doesn't seem to have been asked.

Thanks!!

What is the make up of your party? How many kids, adults? Ages? Are you adventurous eaters or like plain food?

That would make it easier to give recommendations.

There are 3 of us - all adult, and one is a vegetarian.....We are there for 2 weeks and will be looking for Table service at the evening meal... Thanks for your reply!

Hello and welcome. What I would do is go thru the entire list of restaurants, you can find them under the dining section of the board.
There is a "complete list" click on that and look thru them.

Disney has so many choices you can find anything, so it is left up to you as to what tastes you like. Everyone is different with this.

Some of my favorites are Ohana, Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, Whispering Canyon Cafe, San Angel Inn.

Maybe set up a party when all the people going can get together and look at the menus together. That may be fun!!

Epcot has very nice TS restaurants - and counter service - in the World Showcase.
Chefs de France is nice, so is Le Cellier (1 tix for lunch/2 for dinner) although LC is very hard to book. I really like Marrakesh and Mexico - both their TS have great theming and food. Teppan Edo is awesome too - so many good choices at Epcot!

MK is a hard one, the only one I liked was Crystal Palace for breakfast. What we usually do is go to teh Poly and have lunch/dinner at Kona or Ohana. But you can always book dinner at Epcot ad just take the monorail ;)

AK has Yak & Yeti which is good and it is nice to get out of the sun for a couple of hours - AK gets really hot!

DHS is iffy, lots of people like 50's (I don't). Sci-Fi is fun (you sit in cars ad watch B movie previews), the food is ok, the shakes are awesome ;)
We either go to Epcot, Boardwalk or Yacht & Beach Club (just a Friendship launch ride away for all) for dinner.

We tend to plan our dinner reservations around our evening activities. We usually include some resort touring and may eat at a resort on those days. As others have suggested, check out the menus. We go by atmosphere and what we like to eat over best value, since it is all covered on the plan. Some of our favorites are Kona Cafe (Poly), Grand Floridian Cafe (GF), Olivias (Old Key West), Le Cellier (although lunch is better because only 1 credit), Tutto, Raglan Road, Teppan Edo and Beaches and Cream (we do this OOP).

we would need a geat deal more information about you and your party to give you useful guidance. (and, actually, this is probably the most frequently sought advice)

Not really knowing anything about you, we have truly enjoyed our meals at The Wave located at the Contemporary Resort. As a PP said, TS options at MK are pretty slim and the Contemporary is a short walk (5-8 min) or Monorail ride away. It doesn't seem like a theme park restaurant and the food and service are exceptional.

My other recommendations would be:

Epcot - Biergarten and Chefs de France
DHS - 50's Primetime but I'm not sure about vegetarian options there.
AK - like Yak & Yeti but we're going to Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge this time.

I second the suggestion to check menus here and on allearsnet.com.. And the more you tell us about yourselves, the better we can help!!
