I can honestly say that in the 3 years we have been using Blue Lizard, we have not had any burns...maybe a bit of red cheeks, but that is it...and we spend a lot of time outdoors!!!
Coppertone Spectra has zinc oxide. I have a friend who uses Blue Lizard, and I think she said she has to order it on line. I've never seen it in stores.
My youngest has really bad eczema and our dermatologist recommended the Neutragea Sensitive Skin. We love it! It's only an SPF 30, but we haven't had any sunburns.
Never heard of it before, but Austrailians know sun products! Have the Pepany sunshade from Austraila and love that thing! I know a lot of the sun hats and baby sunglasses (Baby Banz) are all manuf. in Austraila.
the NO-AD in the pink bottle for babies does have zinc in it, and you can find that at any walmart or store like walmart. I`ve also bought plain zinc and added it to the sunscreen bottle, lol, it works for me! they sell zinc in a jar and ive been known to dump the sunscreen out of the bottle and mix it together and re-bottle it.............I felt like a chemist even though I have no degree, LOL
anyway these were only suggestions
Congrats!!!!!
Thanks everyone for your advice and experiences. I grabbed a tube of Baby (Blue) Lizard and tried it this past weekend. It didn't irritate DS's skin, and seemed to work well, no burns.
May also try California Baby, but haven't found it yet.
