best summer weekdays 2005?

Hi all, i did a search and can't find the answer, altho it's likely there.... (it has been such a monday....... )

What days do you think are the best for mid- july '05 ~
a monday- tuesday OR tuesday-wednesday?

Uh-oh, a little update to my question....

It looks like the week we'll be there is the week of monday, july 17, the actual 50th anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And then i know the crowds will be outrageous.....or will they? What have you all heard? If at all possible, should we try to go the week before, or the week after? Will it make that much of a difference?

HELP, please! Any and all thoughts and feedback greatly appreciated!!!
