Best Studios

Which resort has the best studios? Are they all the same size? Are some nicer than others? Looking to take our first DVC trip and we are wondering where to stay. Thanks!

It all depends on if you prefer the pull-out couch vs. the 2 queen beds. OKW is the only DVC resort that you will have the 2 queen beds and slightly larger room (although with the 2 beds vs. the couch being folded it will feel a bit smaller). An Inn room instead of a studio at VB will also give you the 2 queens instead of the pull-out couch. Some prefer to have an actual bed and some prefer the extra space the pull-out gives you when folded and being able to sit on the couch. It's all a matter of preference. Beyond that it's all in which theming you prefer - meaning , which resort you like best.

OKW studios are larger and have two queen beds compared to the other resorts. DH likes the studios that have a couch, says it makes him feel more like he is at home. Recently DH and I were at Disney and while at Boardwalk we talked to a couple who felt that the studios there were not as nice looking at OKW. While staying at OKW it seems you have a better chance of getting a more quiet and peaceful area then you would at other resorts. But this is a our own opinion. All in all it probably comes down to what theme and area you really want to stay at.

For space in the unit: OKW has it! If it's location you're looking for, then it would depends on your preferences.

Thank you so much. We are thinking of bringing my brother and sister along, so it is good to know that OKW is a bit larger.
