Best Studio for Short Trip?

I'm going to schedule a short trip for this spring with one of my children as a birthday gift. (With 3 kids we try to take individual trips with all of them once in a while...not always Disney, though) I'm looking to rent points for a studio, and I was wondering which of the following you think would work out best for our needs since we won't be renting a car for the spring trip, and are looking to stay on a decent budget. It will only be myself and my (then 10 year old) for a week long trip. Bay Lake Tower and Wilderness look to be the most expensive. The pool is an important feature, but transportation and price is, also.

Which parks do you plan to visit the most? I would then choose a resort that is closest.

The DVC resort that takes the least amount of points for a studio is Old Key West. It is a wonderful resort with a comfortable, community feel. There are 4 pools with the feature pool having a sand castle water slide.

BTW, the studios at Old Key West are the largest studios of any of the DVC resorts.

I couldn't agree with you more!

Old Key West by far has the most spacious studios, and the folks that are more than "family-like".

Plus........the bus is almost NEVER full going to or from Old Key West

I'm strongly considering Old Key West. I like the price, the space, and the fact that there's usually availability when others are filling up (or so my in-laws the DVC members tell me)
