The stroller we recieved at my shower already has issues and its only been used for 9 months. So I will be purchasing a new one in the coming weeks. Any advice? I want a medium sized stroller, cup holders for mom and baby, basket under seat, etc but I want it to recline to the point my little one can nap at Disney this summer. Suggestions? Thanks!!!

Go with a Maclaren. Expensive but so worth it, especially if youre thinking of having another baby! I did a lot of research, and the DIS boards helped a lot. I got the Quest to haul my then 3 yr old around DW and am now using it with our 7 mos old (first used it with her around 3 mos). Our son is now 4 and still uses it occasionally. It folds like an umbrella type, its good to 55 lbs (as are most Macs), has a small basket underneath, a large sunshade that can be positioned, a raincover, handle to carry, extenders that slide out for smaller babies so their legs dont hang over, weighs about 11-12 lbs, reclines (not all the way back), has taller handles, and is so easy to push you can do it with one hand. The basket underneath is not very big and is hard to access when the child is in the stroller. Instead I got the Mac organizer (mesh bag with cup holders) that hangs from the handles. The cup holders are floppy and small, but will stretch a bit. You can always add some (check out Lionheart's products at Babies R Us). Other people love the Volvo model, but I dont think it reclines.

We have a Graco for our children. We received it at a shower for child one (DD) now 5 and have used it through child two (another DD) now 22 months, and it is still going. It has a large seating area for the little one and has a large basket underneath. While at first, the size seemed like it would be cumbersome, it has proven invaluable with all the stuff we have to haul around the parks with two kids (diaper bags, snacks, souveniers, drink cups, etc.).

We have made three trips to Sea World, two to Busch Gardens, one to Disney World, several to Wild Adventures, and many miles of walking around the neighborhood for our afternoon strolls. It had held up well and I believe I could carry a cow in it if I had to.

I just recently got a Maclaren Quest Mod/Rose Pink for my DD...I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! It has light pink and dark pink circles on it, and it is just the cutest stroller. It is VERY light, folds very compact, which was a HUGE selling point for me. It has a decent sized basket underneath, but I also bought the Maclaren organizer for additional storage and the two cup holders. They are just fine for fountain drinks and soda bottles...even baby's bottles! It also has a smaller compartment at the top for your keys, cell phone, sunglasses. To make my stroller even MORE perfect, I just got the best diaper bag that connects to the handles!! This stroller glides so easily, even with one hand. It is AWESOME. It is my first Maclaren and I highly recommend it!! :cheer2:

Congrats on your daughter. Ours has just turned 9 months!!

Thank you so much! Isn't it great?? She is now almost 8 1/2 months. I love this age!!

I hope you got help making your decision for the stroller on here. Like so many others have said in other threads, Maclarens are AWESOME. Everyone who has them seems to absolutely LOVE them. Good luck with your choice! :thumbsup2

I have a Maclaren as well and just love it - much better than my Graco Metrolite. I still haven't traveled with the Maclaren yet though. It does have pretty limited storage capabilities.

I bought mine way cheaper than amazon from these folks:
specialtybaby

I've gotten a Britax car seat from them too and they've both been perfect.

Peg Pliko P3 is also a well-reviewed stroller and has all of the features you mentioned.
