Best Stroller for WDW?

I know this question has been asked a million times, but I searched and can't sort thru all the stroller related threads and find what I'm looking for! So, here we go again...

I'm looking to buy a new stroller for our WDW trip. DS is 2.5, and loves having a snack tray in front of him, so that's a must. We have a large Graco that works great, but its just t0o bulky for travel.

Here's my list of wishes and wants, but mostly, I'm looking for something inbtw a full size and an umbrella that is easy to break down and won't break the bank. (I've seen a lot of Peg Perego rec's, but that's way too pricey for me right now.) - Snack tray, under seat storage, weighted so it won't fall over when DS gets out, reclining seat and, preferably, folds so that the wheels all stay down.

Any help please! We're leaving in 3 weeks, and this is one thing I've left WAY too long.

Personally, I'd go with what your child likes and is comfortable with. Especially at 2.5years, do you want to go out and buy something new?

We were in the same situation. We were planning the trip with 3 year old twins. We've done other trips/non-Disney parks with a double jogging stroller but were looking for others for the trip. I had the same concerns about dealing with a large stroller at disney and was looking for something smaller. I ended up buying a travel bag for what we had and checking it on the plane. We perfered it over others because it didn't have a tray and the kids could climb into it themselves and could nap if needed. There were only a couple of busy times of the day where it was tough to get it on the disney buses but in general, it worked out for us (and saved the cost of yet another stoller).

Sorry, not the answer you were looking for.
Have fun!
Jeff.

Are you flying or driving? why is the stroller too big for travel? We just flew x-country with a big single jogger and didn't have any problems with the size (well other than dh only brought it on a Tram once and then decided from then on he would rather walk it to TTC than try to fit it on a Tram again. No biggy because we didn't mind the extra walking. I think it was big wheels that did it on that one though. I've seen people take Graco strollers and big doubles on the trams no problem. Anyway not sure how much is too much but the Chicco Cortina might fit the bill. I've never used one myself but I've heard really good things about them. The stroller alone costs about $149 online. http://www.chiccousa.com/product.php?productid=272&cat=5&page=1
But if you can make the one you have work then all the better. I agree that for a 2yr old you want to use what he is comfortable in. At that age, my ds still napped in the stroller quite a bit so I was glad to have one that was comfy for him.

Do you have the Graco Quattro stroller or something similar? I have that as well, and when my oldest was younger (and my only at the time) we traveled to WDW with it and it worked out quite well. It had all of the amenities that I loved and it wasn't that bad to take with me. (I have since traveled with a double jogger, so the Graco seems like a piece of cake!)

You might have some trouble finding something with a tray that is lightweight that isn't really expensive. I was recently out looking at lighter weight double strollers and I didn't see anything with a tray in the doubles, but there is a lot more to choose from in the singles.

Good luck and have a great trip!

We went round and round about the stroller thing. We went in Dec 06 and used our huge Graco stroller, which was good for our daughter, but really hard to bring onto crowded buses. We decided to go with the Maclaren Triumph in yellow for our trip in August, which was AWESOME! Our daughter if 4 and definitely could not do all the walking required of a WDW vacation, plus whenever she got too hot, she could pull the shade down. It folded up nicely and was really lightweight and easy to get on/off the buses!

I love this stroller: http://www.gogobabyz.com/products/urban_advantage.html but I can't decide how hard it would be to get it on a bus. We always stay at BWV, so we take this stroller when we walk to MGM and EPCOT and when we (sometimes) drive to AK. We also bring our Maclaren for trips to MK. It's a pain to bring 2 strollers, but like I said, I worried about getting our big one on the buses!

I have been looking into strollers for the past month or so. I was very close to buying the Chicco Trevi. It's bigger than an umbrella stroller, but it folds the same way. It has a snack tray and a basket underneath. It sells for $129 at several on-line stores. I ultimately decided to buy a Maclaren Triumph. My ds is 18 months old, and has always used the big Graco behemoth travel system stroller. I decided that, for Disney World, the lighter, smaller Maclaren would be the best way to go. So far, I'm very happy with it. We've taken it on several outings and it has worked out great for us. I truly thought I'd miss having the snack tray, but it has not been an issue at all. In fact, my ds loves the fact that he can climb in and out of the stroller all by himself, with no snack tray getting in the way. He's okay with holding a snack in his hands. Plus, I figure we'll rig up something to hold snacks when we take it to Disney in February. If I were you, and I was really set on having a snack tray, I'd look at the Chicco Trevi or even the $40 Baby Trend stroller that Babies R Us carries. If you do decide to look at the Maclarens, you can get great prices online at albeebaby.com.

Good luck!

I panicked about time frame, so I went ahead and ordered one today. I got a pretty good deal on a Jeep Cherokee Sport Lightweight Stroller. It was 49.99 at Walmart.com, and I was able to have it shipped to the store and save the shipping. It seems to have the features I wanted and got some really good reviews too. The other strollers everyone said looked great, but I just wasn't willing to pay that much. I know sometimes you get what you pay for, but DS hardly ever uses a stroller anymore, so this may be a one time use (unless we have #2).

Anybody use it before?
