we need to bring our stroller to wdw for our 2 yearold so we have something when we arent at the parks
i want something that reclines for his naps and that has good tall handles for DH
anyone got any ideas

We just got back from WDW a few weeks ago, and before we went, I was juggling the idea of renting a stroller or bringing our own. I was afraid of bringing one because of flying (I didn't want the airlines to tear it up!).

I decided to bring our own so we would have it when we were outside of the parks. I went to Target and bought the Graco Mosiac Lightweight Stroller, and it was absolutely wonderful on our trip! My 2.5 yr old weighs 35#, and this stroller held his weight wonderfully (I think it is designed for up to 40#, but I can see it lasting longer than that). It has tall handles, a basket, reclining seat, canopy, and best of all, it folds more like an umbrella stroller (easier on the Disney buses). I paid $99, and it was worth every penny to us! (oh, and we gate checked it at the airport, and it didn't receive a scratch!) :)

DH and I are on the tall side (I'm 5'8, he's 6'2) and we have a Maclaren Triumph stroller for our DD. We love it. It's very sturdy, folds up like an umbrella stroller and has a carrying strap, plus it has a cover and basket. The most important feature for us were the high handles. We are both very comfortable pushing it.

Depends on how much you want to spend. I have a Peg Perego Aria. I agree, the Maclauren is nice. The lightweight gragos are nice, too. My DD4 (she's almost 5) is still riding in the Peg Perego, we bought it when she turned 1. It doesn't have the cup holders though, and I miss that, and the tray for all my stuff. I'd look for a good consignment shop, sometimes you can find great stuff there. We even had our stroller basket replaced under warranty, but no problems other than that. I even used the waterhose to wash off the Peg Perego, and it worked great! :teeth:
I think mine was $189, I don't remember though. There's a raincover that you can get to go with it.

I got a Mac Quest to use with my DS at WDW (he was 3 then). Macs are nice since they go up to 55 lbs. The Quest has a deeper seat, reclines (not flat), is a breeze to push even with one hand, is lightweight, folds like an umbrella..........I love mine.
