I like to buy good gift wrap, that doesn't tear easily. Usually there are kids that sell it for school, but not this year. Who has the best paper for the best price?

Hobby Lobby and Michaels have really cute paper and they're usually the rolls that have a good bit of paper, not the rolls that barely wrap a gift or two.

If you want to buy the kind the kids sell through the schools (the pricey kind but I love it) - you can order right on the Sally Foster website and designate a school in your area.

I wait until Toys R Us has wrapping paper 75%-90% off...they have the good paper and the rolls are 80-100sq ft....so you can wrap a ton with one roll. I usually get it for 25-75 cents per roll.

I only buy Hallmark paper . Very heavy and has lines on the inside to use as guide when cutting.

We only get Disney character paper and Peanuts character paper...usulayy get it at Walmart, but did not see any this year...anyone have any other stores that you've found it at this year?

I saw Peanuts wrapping paper at Hallmark Stores. With tomorrow being Sunday, I'm not sure if our local Hallmark will be open (it's a stand alone store, not in a mall) and now the forecast is calling for 6+ inches of snow so I may have to miss my Hallmark tradition. What a bummer!

Target - right after New Year's they should be down to 90% off.

Love Hobby Lobby paper - a lot on the roll, really thick and has lines for cutting!

My family and friends paper is "fancy " paper, but Santa did the Peanuts this year , sooo cute and I have tons left over UGHHH, guess Ill save for a cpl of years until I know he doesnt believe anymore and use again. He is 8 so I imagine the gig will be up next year.

for sophisticated GOOD paper, I love the Container Store. Won't be making it today, tho, as we have a blizzard forecast and DH would strangle me if i went out for wrapping paper.

Don't know if they have any left, but Costco's double sided paper is really strong. Just know that it lasts forever because there is so much of it.

Even better then wrapping paper I make my own reusable fabric bags. Lots of really cheap Christmas fabric is on sale right now. Sew all different size bags and then use Christmas fabric ribbon to make a drawstring at the top.

I absolutely hate sewing, but somebody gave me a gift in a small fabric bag one year and I thought, even I can sew that!

You can't believe how much easier it is to open fabric bags and then just fold them up and stow away for next year. You do have to make some of them a lot bigger then you would think (to go around boxes). No paper to burn, no garbage cans full of wrapping paper and way better for the environment. We've been using them for about 3 years now.:thumbsup2

Went to Boscov's, Target, and Kohl's today; not much of a selection left. I did pick up three rolls at Kohl's (60% off), but I'm not crazy about the pattern.

Michaels usually has nice quality, pretty paper, but it's always smaller rolls, 40 sq ft or less. I got 8 rolls at Target today... they range from $1-$5 now that they are 50% off, and go from 40 sq ft to 180 sq ft.

I have never seen this one sale, but honestly, for what you get, it is still half (or less) of the price of other brands.

I have a roll that I used for MOST of my gifts last year and this year and I still have lots left.

I plan to get more of this next year.

The only downside is you get one GINORMOUS roll of the same stuff (or two since you can use the other side too).
