I'm starting to make dining plans for an upcoming Disney vacation and want to include a nice steak dinner. Where do you recommend dining for the best steaks, on Disneyworld property? Other than LeCellier ... for a nice filet mignon or strip steak. Thanks

We enjoyed The Yachtsman Steakhouse at YC very much.:thumbsup2

My parents ate at LeCellier and Wolfgang Pucks at DTD. They said the steak at Wolfgang Pucks was better than LeCellier.

I was told a few years ago by a cast member that Captain's Grill and Yachtmans steakhouse share the same meat cooler.

If you are not on the DDP then Shula's in the Dolphin hands down.

It is dry aged Prime+ meat, not the standard choice that the Disney locations use.
I think Yachtmans has one piece of meat that is Prime (New York Strip Steak), but it is not dry aged.

If you take a look at the prices Shulas is a much better value than the Yachtmans as well.

If you are on the DDP then Le Cellier is the best value since it is only 1TS.
Yachtmans may have a slightly better steak, but it is 2TS and le Cellier comes with the Mushroom Risotto that more than makes up for it.

Fulton's Crab House also has some wonderful choices, if you are not on the DDP. And they let you pair it with a seafood to make it a surf and turf combination.

If I'm not mistaken Le Cellier is moving to 2TS as well.

Yachtsman is IMO the best steak in WDW, but as previously stated is also 2TS. Captains Grille is also very good as is The Turf.

Filets - Citrico's and BlueZoo

NY Strip - Flying Fish and Grand Floridian Cafe

You can get a "good" steak at a # of WDW restaurants, but for the best steak and the largest variety of choice, it's Shula's hands down.

The NY Strip @ Flying Fish is the BEST steak on property in IMHO. For a real treat sub french fries for the potatos and dip them in the foyot sauce. OMG it's heavenly!!!!! :cloud9:

The last few times at Yachtsman have been dissapointing:sad2:

I loved Le Cellier at EPCOT. I don't think that has been beaten although the meat at O'hana i think is amazing too! I'm hungry now, haha! :goodvibes

If not on the DDP, restaurant.com has certificates for Shula's. You can get a code and get a certificate worth $25 for $2/3.

Shula's. Look on Restaurant.com for the $25 coupons for $2-$3 with coupon code.

Personally I love the Ribeye at WCC. It is fabulous. A very tender and tasty steak, can cut it with your fork.

Shula's is the best steakhouse at WDW - but the steak at Flying Fish Cafe has been my favorite of all.
