Best steak?

We will be staying at BWV next June. We already plan to eat at JIKO and maybe California Grill, but one evening we would like to eat a nice dinner close to the hotel. Steak will probably be the entree of choice. Which rest. would have the best steak? Shula's, Yachtsman, Flying Fish, other?

We will also have a VERY picky 11 yr old DS to feed. :earseek:
Any experiences with that age ordering from the kids menu lately at these restaurants?

:cool1:

We greatly prefer Yachtsman Steakhouse, not sure about kids menu as the ones in our group did not go with us.

Shula's does not have a kid's menu, and nothing that would really appeal to a picky 11 y/o. Yachtsman Steakhouse, on the other hand, has a good kid's menu. For that reason alone, although both restaurants have excellent steak, I'd suggest Yachtsman. Here's a link to the DIS menus if you want to take a look:

Shula's has the best steak on property, but as Kaycee said it's not great for kids. So, I vote for the Yachtsman too!

The kids are actually trying to talk me into letting them go to a kids club one night. There are clubs at both YC and the Dolphin, correct?

I think so and Shula's gives you 2 free hours of childcare while you eat there! Don't know the age limitations though... It would be worth checking out since they want to go "play" anyway!

I ate at Yachtsman in May and though my steak (filet) was wonderful - my steak at Citricos 2 weeks ago put it to shame! It was fork tender, no knife needed!

That being said, Yachtsman is wonderful and I don't think you'll be disappointed if you choose to go there!

Shula's is the best place to get the best steak on WDW property. My second choice would be Yachtsman. My DH is VERY picky and he loves both of these places!

Yahtsman Steakhouse is the best place for steak. Shula's was good...but very expensive, a la carte, and it didn't have that "disney feel" to it.

:pug:

Yachtsman was good, but not as good as LeCellier. But my surprise favorite was the beef tenderloin at Bistro de Paris, best steak I've ever had, amazing!

Shula's is the best steakhouse on property.
To this statement I can agree but to anyone who says Shula's has the best steak on property I need you to first tell me you have had the Charred NY Strip at FF, because this, IMO, is the best individual steak on property. pirate:

You asked for best steak on property so my vote is Shula's...pricey but excellent.

You may not want to hear this, since it's not a "steakhouse" but the best steak I had at WDW was at Teppanyaki. It was the only place where it was cooked perfectly.

I've never tried Shulla's, but have tried steak at Concourse, Yachtsman and le Cellier. Of those three, I'd chose the Yachtsman first, not that the others are bad though. Great fillet and great service (ask for Oscar) at the Yachtsman. Very nice atmosphere as well, not to mention the wonderful bread basket and roasted garlic you get to start off with.
