Best Steak?

I am sure this has been asked many times, but my search only brought up a poll from 2005.

So - I think I may upgrade to dxdp and if I do I plan on canceling my Le Cellier reservation and making one at a signature place (if there is room available..)

We will be staying at WL. SO should we stay there and try Artists Pointe? Or should we head to the Yachstman? Or is there a 1 ts place for steak that is just as good other then le cellier? Or any other suggestions? Oh will also have 19 month old with us if that changes things...

Yep, Flying Fish is probably the best steak on property. Second would probably be Yachtsman Steakhouse.

Our top choice for steak is Yachtsman Steak House. Second would be Artist Point. Jiko and Flying Fish come close behind.

Our vote is Yachtsman Steakhouse. They still cut their steaks daily.

Thanks everyone. So YS or FF...I hesitate to go to a "fish" place for steak...but if its that good its worth considering...

YS and FF both have a very good steak. The best I've had from Disney was at Narcoossee's. Shula's has never disappointed either.

I always felt the same way, in fact it took three trips to FF for me to take the chance on it!

Shulas, but I don't know if its on the dining plan. Jiko is my husband's favorite at a Disney restaurant, over the Califoria Grill and Flying Fish.

Jiko, Cali Grill, Yachstmen...never had the one at FF. I usually get sefood there but the place is great and that steak looks yummy.

I think it also depends on your idea of a good steak. Yachstmen is the more typical steakhouse with a great steak cooked to perfection no frills, jiko is served with a cabernet sauce over a complex mac n cheese, Cali grill is oak fired with a tamarind BBQ sauce- all good but all different.

My favorite is Jiko mainly because of the sauce and the mac and cheese. I love mac and cheese, so it makes the dish perfect for me.

I just made my ADR for YS on 9/19. Apparently alot of availabilty...switching my Ohana dinner was the tough part.

Anyway it was a toss up with Jiko. FF - my husband doesn't eat fish and I am sure that would have been the night I hear - I am not in the mood for a steak!

So went with the YS and looking forward to it. Off topic but, I also switched my Donalds Tusker breakfast with Boma - there were just so many great reviews!

My vote is for the YS. Not only do you get a good steak, but their dessert sampler is tops on my list of favorite desserts in WDW!

If you're going with the DxDDP, I'd try to fit in Artist Point also. It would be a shame to miss it, when you're staying there. It's a fabulous restaurant.
