Best steak in the world????

Got to go to the Yachtman's the best in WDW and high on my list of best all around.:) :D

I would vote for the Brown Derby and Le Cellier. Excellent both times at the Derby, though the last time at Le Cellier it was only good, not great. However, it was last New Years Eve so they may have been a little busier than normal. ;)

We've only tried the Yatchman once. My wife enjoyed her steak, though I only thought mine was merely ok - and I sent the first one back! So far neither of us has had the urge to try it again.

We do look forward to dining at Jiko's. However, our daughter enjoys Boma so much that we haven't tried Jiko yet.

Le Cellier with Shula's right up there with LeCellier.Have also enjoyed a great steak at Yachtman's.Steak at BD was good but not prepared to my taste asked for medium rare and was medium well.:wave2:

Thanks for so many responses!! We have ate over the years at many different restaurants at WDW.. Mainly though it has been with our 2 teenage daughters who were then a lot younger, and it seemed we did a lot of Character dinners and breakfasts and or fast food establishments. I just wanted this to be very nice for my wife. All of you have given me a lot of great ideas. Thanks again and happy holidays everyone. Chip.

Off topic, but I second that!:teeth:

We are trying the Yachtsman & Le Cellier this trip, however!

We just got back and I had steak three places:

Ohana, California Grill, and Chef's de France.

Hands down, once again Chefs surpassed them all. The sauce on the beef filet is MAGNIFIQUE! It is truly perfection on a plate.

Cali grill was better this trip than last, they didn't overcook my steak this time. Last time it was charred.

Ohana...the food was mostly cold this time. I was really bummed out. They definitely slipped a notch this trip.

I cannot WAIT go to back to Chefs. Our past two trips they have given us the finest dining we've ever had at WDW, bar none.

would be Yachtsman Steakhouse. A close second would be Blue Zoo...I know they specialize in fish but the steak was out of this world! Yummy.

Also like the steak at Narcoosee's.

Can you tell I like steak better than fish? I wish I didn't, but I do.

We've had steaks at CG (fantastic), LeCellier (way overrated) and Yachtsman. The best steak ever was the New York Strip with Maytag Blue Cheese Sauce. I get goose bumps just thinking about it. Desserts here are top notch.

I know this is OT, but Charley's on Orange Blossom Trail has been rated by several magazines as the best steak in Orlando for many years. The Cowboy Ribeye at Ruth's Chris is awesome!

We ate at Yachtsman a few weeks ago. Great steaks. If you have the $$$, I would recommend it.

I had the best filet in my life at Yachtsman Steakhouse last week, and my husband had the bourbon steak, and my son the sirloin. All were fabulous, and the service was unparallelled- Our waiter was Sam and absolute perfection! We all agreed we'd go there the next time we get to, but would pass on le Cellier.

The best cut of Beef is certainly Shula's at the Dolphin. Hands down.
The atmosphere is nothing special.

A shimp cocktail, caeser salad , 16 oz. Sirloin Strip (charrred MR) with a side of creamed spinach and a nice glass of Cabernet Sauvignon.

For dessert the Molten Chocolate Cake with a double Espresso.

Now that's a meal to remember!

Over the years, I've had a lot'a steaks at all of the WDW restaurants mentioned above. But there's only 1 steak that I stands out in my mind.... The char-crusted NY at Flying Fish.

For a fish house, they sure cook up one great steak!
