Can anyone give any advice on what is the BEST steak in WDW.??? Thanks, Chip.

I have asked this question many times and these are some of the top five that keep coming up....

Shula's...pricey...man club type atmosphere....but big manly steaks....right off Swan/Dolphin.

Yachtman's Steakhouse...pricey...a little more upscale with more than just your baked potato side...near Yacht Club.

Le Cellier...we did try this one...my husband said the steak was very good...he wasn't blown over but he was not discouraged either...which is a huge compliment for him...very critical of his steaks. In the Canada pavillion at Epcot.

Concourse Steakhouse...it's supposed to be a steakhouse...but I've read so many mixed reviews...have a feeling you may or may not get the quality equivalent to an Outback Steakhouse...it's in the Contemporary Resort.

I did try the steak at Tony's on the Square...it was horrendous...charred and crusty when it was supposed to be medium. Ick!

We are going in January...have decided on Yachtman's...will let you know how it is if we travel before you do! :)

Tried Le Cellier last week and we decided that it was probably the best steak we have ever had. The potatoes were awesome too!

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

We had one of our "all time" favorite steak dinners at the Yachtsman during out last trip................

Definitely going back................:teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

We have tried Le Cellier and Yachtsman.

Le Cellier was good, definitely not bad, but like Imhall2000 said, I wasnt blown over by it either. Im thinking maybe because I had heard such great reviews I was expecting more.

Yachtsman on the other hand was amazing. Not just the meat but the salad, sides, even the drinks were great. ;)

I had one at the concourse steak house last week - very mediocre.
I did have a teryiaki (sp) steak at Emeril's tchop chop house and it was the second best steak I have had in my life. (the best one was at Emeril's Delmonico steak house in Las Vegas).

le cellier mushroom filet

YUMMMM

I would rate the steak in the following order
1. Victoria & Alberts
2. California Grill
3. Yachtsmans Steakhouse (we went there twice)
4. Le Cellier
That being said, the steaks at all of these places were out of this world tasty. I don't think you could go wrong at any of them. I did eat at the Concorse Steakhouse several times, though I did not have a steak, judging from my meals there I would bet they have an average steak.

Shocked it hasn't been mentioned yet! The charred NY Strip at Flying Fish. The best bar none.

Also worth consideration is the buffalo strip at Artist Point.

This would definitely be my choice.

Also, Le Cellier is fine, but (imho) overrated - it's not a bad steak, but nowhere near the best at WDW.

I would have said the California Grill however, we ate there this past Sunday and service has definitely taken a turn for the worse. We had a very "average meal" for $250 for four of us (2 adults and 2 children). I don't know if we caught the Grill on a bad night or what but it was very mediocre and outrageously priced imho.
We ate at the FF which was excellent, LeCellier and had same steak for half the price as well as others.
California Grill is just not worth the money any more sadly as I used to rave about this place.

If you are looking for the best slab of beef, why not try the prime rib at the Pepper Market in the Coronado Springs. The chef will gladly slap it on the grill for you if you want the diamond char marks. IMHO this is the best beef in all of Disneyworld. it is so tender that it literally melts in your mouth. Plus the price is only $18.95: in expensive enough that you could actually order two portions for what you pay for one elsewhere at those so-called Steakhouses at Disney.

I think I have a steak dinner that no one has mentioned as of yet. Has anyone ever tried the Filet at Hollywood Brown Derby. I know it isn't a big manly t-bone but it is definitly the best I have tried in the World. Fiance and I asked the waited how it is prepared and he told us it was marinated in coke classic for 24 hours. Supposedly the carbonation melts away any fat and tenderizes the meat.....ok I gotta go out and cook something now but I wonder if anyone else has tried this?

These aren't on-site but the best steak in Orlando is at Charley's Steakhouse and the Palm at the Hard Rock Hotel is pretty awesome too !

Two weeks ago, I would have said Le Cellier, last year was one of the best meals I've had. So this year I order the same filet. It was a below average piece of beef. Not nasty, just not very tasty and it was tough. Not what I would expect from their prices. But the cheddar cheese soup and pretzel bread almost made up for it.

We also ate at the Brown Derby. The filet was probably one of the best I've ever had.

But be careful when you order and how you want it cooked. The night we were there, they couldn't cook one to medium, it kept coming out rare/medium rare.

Try the mushroom filet at LeCellier!

Shula's by far has the best beef. Out of this world.

Narcoosees and Le Cellier are running a close second.

We love steak and my wife swears that the best steak she gets ANYwhere is at The Flying Fish.....that's right.....The Flying Fish. Their choice is limited but she claims the NY Strip steak w/sauce foyot is awesome.
